Footsteps from the quarter yet in a neighborhood all its own, this hotel was a true treat. Exceptional service, spotless rooms, comfortable beds, well-stocked bathroom, and lovely thoughtful extras throughout the stay.

The room was thoroughly clean and comfortable. Appreciated the mid-day room touch up and the turn down service, kept the room fresh throughout my stay. The provided ice and filtered water were also a nice touch, and I appreciated housekeeping providing two water bottles for my room without my asking once the initial water bottle was finished. It’s a small touch but a great one.

Front desk staff was also delightful. Informative, kind, and just great people to interact with. Also enjoyed the assistance and friendliness of the staff at the speakeasy and breakfast restaurant. The speakeasy was SO fun and unique. Great funky and well planned drinks.

Daily coffee on request outside our door was prompt and hot. Don’t skip the coffee, it’s great! Also appreciated the nightly charcuterie and cookies in the lobby.

My visit coincided with the January 2025 snowstorm and the hotel continued to offer excellent service despite the snowpocylapse outside. I think that’s a testament to their professionalism and commitment to guests.

I hope my future visits to New Orleans include stays at this property because it was phenomenal.

I chose the hotel because it had the best rating on booking.com
I didn't care how much the hotel cost. I was simply expecting the best it could be.
Unfortunately, the problem with the hotel is the staff. Doorman spent time on his cell phone instead of answering the door. Ordering ice for the room was a big problem. I waited 45 mins just for ice and had to remind myself several times. The minibar was missing bottles of champagne. They were unable to refill the minibar during my four day stay.  The hotel does not meet the 5* standard. It's the hotel staff's fault.
Otherwise the rooms, bathroom and location is good.

Came to New Orleans for my birthday 11/2 and Maison Metier exceeded my expectations. Wow what an incredible stay. Byron checked us in and was attentive and helpful and kind our entire stay. The speak easy, the lounge area by check in, the rooms, the hallways, just everything. So perfect!!! The honor bar was so cute, you can just pour yourself a drink and unwind. The wine and charcuterie board each night was delightful.  Lawrence was so helpful with all knowledge on New Orleans and the young man at the door (with the braids I'm so sorry I forgot his name was so nice!!). I highly recommend this hotel for anyone coming to New Orleans. The only place we will stay! Oh and it has so much New Orleans charm to the hotel. If you want to really feel like you're staying in New Orleans (rather than any business like hotel), come here. The speak easy leading into the most delightful bar took it over the top (Bar Metier). I'm very picky about hotels, cleanliness is top tier, and this is a 5 star hotel worth the 5 stars. Clean, friendly, beautiful.

Maison Metier is my new favorite Hotel in New Orleans. The Hotel is so beautiful and well appointed, but the staff is what made a wonderful experience. Everyone was so attentive and genuine, paying attention to every need. From turndown service in the evenings, to Coffee and Tea service delivered to our door in the morning, the staff made us feel like we were guests in a luxurious private home. The evening cocktails and  breakfasts were also just fantastic. I have already booked a longer stay for next week.

Our stay was wonderful. New Orleans as a destination is one of the most fulfilling & memorable places to explore in all of the usa. We got very lucky from before the moment we walked through the doors at Maison metier Thaddeus warmly greeted/helped us & was our go to person & the corner stone of our stay & experience here. Everyone was hospitable but Thaddeus was a stand out from beginning to end of stay & made the magic hospitality of NOLA come alive. Room #5 is crazy GORGEOUS and the view made our holidays extraordinary. The breakfast at maison metier was very good, great variety of options. Coffee was excellent.  Each person I met serving in the breakfast area was amazing they all added so much to our visit & the vibe was always relaxing & enjoyable. & We’d definitely rebook on a future visit.
