Since this is a chain now and super popular I had my hesitations. But had to go here to have their famous hurricane. Which did live up to it’s reputation. But also when we went we entered a different door during the day which took us into their courtyard which was really pretty. Service was quick and easy. Nice place to relax in the afternoon and just the one drink really did it’s job for sure!

This is a spot NOT TO MISS!! First of: the atmosphere is sooo cool! Everyone grabs their Hurricane (the drink they invented!) and sits on the patio and chills. And the waiters are not pushy but kind and ask if you’d like more… or not- it’s lovely. And then you read about a Piano Bar… and you step into this cool air conditioned inside bar with the BEST dueling piano show!! What a fantastic evening we had!! Also
There, the staff was so nice, always checking but not pushing drinks on you, making you feel happy and welcome with their care! And on top of that, the drinks are normally priced! We must have stayed for HOURS!! Si ging along all of our favorite tunes. Do not miss the Dueling Pianos!! They rotate pianists every hour and the tunes keep coming. Just great fun. 🤩

The classic at New Orleans! Go for the hurricane and stay for the music. Be careful with those drinks though, hits you sooner than you realize.
Alligator bites was interesting - mimics chicken nuggets with a fishy smell.
I also liked their jambalaya.

Great entertainment. Sometimes its difficult to get a table and a beverage. Music and performers are entertaining and talented. The building and atmosphere are historic and awesome. It's worth a stop when visiting New Orleans.
