I have been going to this bagel spot foe over 23 years. The food is fresh, hot and delicious.  They would have received 5 stars if it weren't for the outdated decor. They could use some new fixtures, display refrigerators and flooring.

It is one of the best kept secrets in Queens and a top performer, in my opinion, in the 5 boroughs in New York when it comes to bagels.

I've been to enough bagel spots throughout New York and out of state for the past 30 years to back my opinion on this establishment, and I have to say this is hands down my go to spot when it comes to bagels. The reason is how they are made. I have been there enough times now to watch the process but probably missing the secrets involved.

1. Once they made the doe and shape of the bagel, which is all I house,  they then dump them all into a huge (seems like a 100 gallon) commercial barrel of boiling water.

2. Once they start floating to the top, they then fish them out with a strainer one by one.

3. They are then put on wet wooden blocks about 5 or so on a block that are then placed into an old school rotating oven.

4. Once ready, they pull out the wooden block with the freshly done bagels on them, and then, from the oven to the baskets, they go right in front of the customer.

The ingredients they use are amazing because the taste is amazing.

One more thing I will say why I constantly choose this place over others is the shelf life of their bagels. I am a big egg bagel fan, and their egg bagels can literally last me up to a week and still stay soft after day 4 or 5 with no mold growing on them. If you get there early enough in the morning and want a toasted bagel, they will toast it in their oven, face down, which takes the bagel taste experience to another level.

They also make all kinds of catering,  sandwiches and other delicacies.

This place is so underrated and such a hidden gem in Queens that if they actually got their own dedicated place outside of the shopping center they would do phenomenal and probably would be able to open many stores from them in the form of franchising. That is how much confidence I have in this place and the amazing bagels they serve up fresh daily. Hope this store never goes away.

So my coworker gave me this cream cheese that she bought from this deli and was so pissed off because for $3.38 (highway robbery) she thought it was a disappointment - both the price and the taste. I was reading the reviews about this place being too expensive… and this is proof. I mean, seriously?! Almost $4 for maybe 3 tbsp of cream cheese? It’s no wonder no one at my job wants to go here. You’re better off going to the supermarket next door and buying cream cheese 3x the size for the same price and a bag of bagels for the same price. Wow. They should be ashamed of themselves. I’m sure even they wouldn’t pay this amount for this.

I’m not coming here anymore.  It was good with the old owners, but now the new owners took over and It is not good anymore.  The miserable girl in the front acts like she doesn’t even want to be there.  No smile on her face no good morning, not even a hi.  She overcharges and doesn’t give you the right change so make sure you check your change.  The guys in the back cannot get an order right if their life depended on it.  Even when they write down what you order, they still get it wrong.  They barely put any meat in the sandwiches & Aren’t good anymore. Forget about breakfast, it’s like they use small size eggs because when you get a bacon egg and cheese, all you taste is the roll.  Their bagels do not taste the same and they seem a little smaller.  They need to close down and get a better deli in there.

Clear as day as to why this place has endured against virtually every restaurant in the area, including my beloved Francesco's.... The bagels are fresh , daily, almost sweet tasting. Becomes actively difficult not to buy them by the truckload.
