Canlis has an incredible atmosphere, amazing service, and hands down one of the best views in Seattle. It really gives off all the Michelin star vibes when it comes to the overall experience. However, I’m giving it 3 stars because the food just doesn’t live up to the hype.

I’ve been here twice in the past year, and while nothing is bad, nothing stands out either. The Bread and Butter were the only items I’d rate a solid 5/5. The Wagyu was good, but it's similar to other steaks I’ve had at other high-end spots.

The quality is there, but the taste and creativity are just okay. For a place like this, I expected at least one dish that I’d be craving to come back for, but there wasn’t. I really hope they work on making the food as memorable as the rest of the experience because the potential is there!
Oh, and the Canlis Salad is a joke, honestly.. please avoid. A very simple green salad for $24 pp.

We had a wonderful company holiday dinner here! We were fortunate to be able to reserve the upstairs for our group. Incredible views. The staff went above and beyond with their incredible service. Oh yeah the food was pretty good too!! I will definitely be back to try the full menu

What a great fun experience. Amazing service and great food. We had a wonderful time. The staff was exceptional and paid attention to every detail. They remembered allergies, my coat location and even remembered our car without us telling anyone what car we valeted!

Finally tried Canlis after moving to Seattle. If Washington had Michelin come review restaurants for stars, Canlis would definitely be on the list. Service was phenomenal throughout and the views were amazing. Food options varied from good to delicious and the experience overall was stellar. It was pricey for what you get, but I've had similar Michelin meals which carried the same cost. Would come back for a special occasion.
