Not very clean. Very friendly staff and not always busy. They have gluten free buns which most subways don't have! Would recommend it as long as you don't mind t being a little dirty!

I came here once decided that I wouldn't come back. I brought in some Subway coupons that I received with mails and newspapers. At most Subway stores, they would honor, but this store refused to honor. Okay! I was too lazy to drive out of the Island. Let me get something to eat. When I ordered my sandwich, the employee seemed annoyed by me for no reason. I swear I didn't think for too long to tell her which item I wanted. During the entire ordering process, she was very impatient. When I pulled out my credit card to pay, she said that they could only take Visa or Master. Ugh! Okay! I used my Visa card to pay. After paying, I asked for a receipt. The lady pretty much threw the receipt at me. What's wrong with her?! I don't want to figure it out. I will not go back for sure.

I've been going here off and on for over a year now. The last week or so have been tough. The clear and simple issue is that the night lady doesn't wash her hands . It's gross and I don't want to be sick. I went there 3 times in a row during a 1 week span and each time she was either on the phone, dealing with the register, or moving paper. When you go in she goes right over with her dirty hands and puts the paper down for your sandwich. She pats it down so it doesn't fly away with her dirty hands. After that she puts on gloves. Hello? It's too late. Plus you handled the outside of the gloves like you were making bread so they're dirty too. I've had enough of this place. The last time I asked her to wash her hands. She got mad, oh well. Dirty place.

Health hazard. We placed a small online order & when we went to pick-up our food the door was locked. The employee working there opened the door and when we were allowed to stick our head inside to look for our order there was a powerful aroma emanating of feces. I can only guess that the door was locked to keep people out because of a bathroom issue or a hygiene problem with one of the staff. This is not hyperbole when I say that we ended up throwing away the order out of disgust. If its necessary to lock the doors to keep people from smelling the inside of your store why are you serving food? I reached out to Subway directly to try to handle this privately and I received a copy and paste response from someone at corporate about how they'll improve their "training" in the future. This place should be shut down.

This is absolutely the worst subway ever. They skimp on the meats, cheeses, and veggies. The bread is usually stale and hard. I honestly don't know how they are in business. I do not recommend this Subway. I have given them too much Business as it is.

Our housemates were sick so we all decided to order out for dinner to make things easy. The website itself was a nightmare to navigate; it took forever for things to load and showed the wrong delivery address after we had submitted our order and paid. When calling to ask about it, we were told to cancel the order online, (which could not be done with how it was working on our end). After a couple of phone calls trying to sort this out, I was able to download the app on my phone and confirmed the delivery address showing up on there was correct, so if they were able to continue the order we would take it. About 5-10 minutes after the time our food was supposed to be delivered, we got a message saying it had been canceled, and the store had closed by that point, which would have been nice to know way sooner since we were all waiting under the assumption it would arrive. Needless to say we will not be giving them business again in the future.

Dear management, Overhaul your staff ASAP, the young lady with long black hair who was ABOVE AND BEYOND RUDE and seemed pushed out of shape I was asking for more spinach in my salad actually rolled her eyes at me. When a customer comes across that blatant disrespect, why on earth shall I pay to be treated that way? I told her thank you so much for her wonderful attitude and walked out . Her attitude is the reason why I'll never spend money at your establishment. She needs an attitude check, big time. She'll be the number 1 reason why you're loosing business.

This Subway location is excellent. It's a small store, but it's clean, and the people there make a good sandwich with a minimum of fuss, which is exactly what you want and expect at Subway. Their little dining area is really quiet; it's a great place to sit and read the paper. It's busy at lunchtime though; I like it best for dinner. I'm a huge fan of the untoasted Italian B.M.T. on wheat bread; get it with vinegar, oregano, and parmesan cheese for a real Italian taste.

someone should call the health department I'm not sure what the standards are for mercer island, but this place had just open and was filthy. obviously not cleaned the night before. maybe not ever cleaned. the options were more limited than other subway franchises i've visited, and the one employee on duty was grumpy, like we were bothering him by ordering food. (sorry, buddy.) we didn't get sick, so mercer isl subway gets away with a star.
