Honestly one of the best zoos I have ever been to! Spacious and laid out well, with all exhibits being easy to access smoothly. The dining hall and cafes are lovely with a high variety of food to choose from!

We went on a rainy day today and it actually worked in our favour with less lines and all animals being quite close to the front of the glass mirrors.

Toilets and facilities very clean and tidy. A great day out, especially for kids!! Lots of things for them to look at and do 🐯 🦒

This is an absolutely lovely zoo. The animals have lots of space and enrichments and the park is very spacious and green. We were here pretty much all day and we managed to walk around the entire park. The food is good, there are plenty of places to sit down and relax a bit. A great place to meet the fauna of New Zealand.

Had a lovely outing to the Auckland Zoo. Beautiful sunny day. Saw some interesting and unusual animals and birds. Some exhibits were empty due to upgrading. Worth a visit when in Auckland.

We had a great four hours here.
The zoo is big and well cared for down to the smallest detail. It's like a combination of a zoo and a park. The animals look comfortable, happy, and enjoying their living space. Their living space is large, designed almost naturally.
The toilets are pretty clean and smell nice.
There are several cafes in different areas and all have nice views.
We enjoyed this visit very much.

Spent a full day here with the family looking at all the animals. This is an absolutely amazing place with well looked after animals and beautiful exhibits. Very wheelchair friendly, and easily accessible enclosures and areas that you can get to. Recommend taking lots of water in the summer as you do a lot of walking or pushing in a wheelchair.
