Great Italian food and the place is really nice.
🚨 You can NOT pay tips with credit/debit card, it has to be with pix or cash. I found it really inconvenien as a foreigner, and detrimental to the great service of the waiters.

I recently dined at Artigiano Ristorante for a special dinner to celebrate my daughter’s 15th birthday. We arrived early, and while the restaurant was nearly empty, the food took a surprisingly long time to arrive. Despite the delay, the quality of the food was excellent, making it worth the wait. The atmosphere was delightful, providing a cozy and elegant setting for our celebration. Our waitress was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. While the service speed could improve, Artigiano Ristorante is still a wonderful place for a special occasion.

Still my favorite Italian in Rio. The best spot on a Sunday afternoon is on any of the terraces with a salad, lobster ravioli and a glass of wine!! It’s a cash only restaurant so bring your BRL.

Solo dining, American/Australian here. Amazing salmon, Carpaccio!  Nice atmosphere. The lamb is OK, nothing special. The desert was fine. I'd come back for the salmon! Service is very good, and 10% tip is mandatory. Good for foreigners, for sure. Card + cash tip.

Every pasta dish is amazing! They make everything fresh and cook it to perfection.  Fresh ingredients and not overly seasoned. It's simply great!

The salmon carpaccio is recommended and my favorite is the Tortelli Neri d'Aragosta allo Zafferano (Black Lobster Tortelli with Saffron)

At some point I will update this review to include the meat dishes and pizzas which look great but I never got to them since the pastas are all so good.

One thing to note is this is a cash only restaurant and the tip is not included (but please take care of our waiter!)
