My two friends and I came here for late lunch one day to work remotely. They have a gorgeous patio space and the food was delicious! The short ribs and fish were so good. Also got juice and an açaí bowl!

Very good restaurant, good that even in carnaval was no people there , where all were busy , we had amazing lunch with friends and all food was super tasty . And very good view on beach . Service was fast and very polite . Highly recommend this place

I went their for dinner and the place with it's food is really fancy and tasty. The view is extraordinary as you can see the seaside but also Lagoa.

Good friends who are from Rio met us for dinner and drinks at this spot in Leblon overlooking the beach. We were a bit concerned about the price, since we had been trying to keep our dinners a bit more modest in price, but we figured we deserved a nice meal for a change. The cocktails menu is extremely interesting, with a large range of special drinks with evocative names (I opted for the "Public Enemy #1", which came in a small bottle (like for a 7oz soda) wrapped in a sort of newsprint with Al Capone's image on it. It was delicious, as were the cocktails my friends ordered. When we ordered dinner, there was a lot to tempt us, and while I might have wished to spare the budget by not ordering a starter, it had a dish that sounded so good to me, I could not pass it up--grilled octopus with açaí sauce. I had seen it on another table, and it looked great, so I had that, while one of my friends had a sort of salad with lentils and seafood (and the rest did without a starter). I have to say, my octopus was a bit lacking in flavour; even a bit more salt would have helped it out a bit, but it looked great and the texture of the octopus was excellent. For our mains, I had a dish of rice with duck (duck is one of those things I almost always order when I see it on a menu), while one friend had lamb ribs with polenta. Again, my dish was a bit lacking in flavour and it was actually a bit dry. When it came to desserts, our Carioca friends told us that they cannot go to this place without having dessert, and one in particular they order just about every time they visit. I took that as a good sign, so I ordered one of my favourites, a lime quindim with coconut ice cream. Happily for me, this was deserving of the praise our friends bestowed on it, and the one that they ordered, a sort of tres leites cake, was even better. All in all, given the pricing I cannot give it more than three stars, though if you went for just cocktails and dessert it might deserve four.

At the second floor of a very famous hotel in a glamorous neighbourhood of Rio de Janeiro, this restaurant is a compulsory stop for residents and visitors. Besides great food and drinks, you can get a seat in with a direct view to the sea, from Leblon beach. Arrive early to guarantee those tables. They have one with a nice comfortable sofa with a sea view as well. I have lost count of the amount of times I have been there. The main courses and desserts are always delicious, regardless of the choice. There is one starter though that I just dream about and cannot resist in all my Sunday nights (if you are a chefsclub member you get 50% discount in main courses and even starters). Scallops with cashew puree and cashew sauce. This is the most delicious starter, and a must have for all yelpers.

Nice bar and good service. Went in late on a Sunday night and it was almost empty but the bartender knows his stuff so the cocktails were great. Good food too.

Over the last 10 years I have eaten here probably 15 times but had not been in the last two years. Previously I would have always given this restaurant 5 stars! Now 1 stars is the best I can give it! The service at this very expensive restaurant is terrible! 3 of our party arrived about 10 minutes before the other 5, they had gotten drinks when we arrived the waiter asked 3 of the 5 of us what they wanted for drinks , brought a appetizer for the first 3 took their entre order, and still hadn't taken the initial drink order for the two of us(and I was the one paying the bill.). The orinally 3 got their entre and had not taken our drink order yet much less given us a menu! When I called the manager over her excuse was "the waiter is new"! But I still did not see a menu or get my drink for another 10 mins which by then the original 3 had finished dinner! And for this our bill was $1200.r.
