This is the only picture I took because everything was so tasty I didn’t want to waste time on my phone! The main dishes were delicious, and the dessert was also a standout. The appetizers were fine, but nothing special, very plain and lacked variety. The main dishes were definitely the highlight! Service was fast, and our waiter was polite and attentive. The atmosphere was great, with perfect music volume, though the lighting was a bit too bright for my liking.

My husband and I had a very nice meal here. The food was very good and the service was excellent.

The fried chicken appetizer was particularly memorable. The octopus was very good (excellent flavors and a great dish, but I’ve had better octopus in Brazil). I also really enjoyed my dessert, the aisery cake.

My waiter did an excellent job making recommendations. Overall, a great meal.

The only issue with the atmosphere is that we were seated outside in a covered patio area and it was raining and a bit cold. We didn’t get wet, but it was not ideal seating. (We did make our reservation the same day, so we were just happy the restaurant was able to accommodate us!)

Very atmospheric restaurant. Great service. Good local wine, which the waiter recommended. The appetizer (chicken balls) we ordered could have been better. For the main course we ordered octopus and pork tenderloin. The food looked beautiful and was good, but not perfect, i.e. the sauce in the octopus was too salty. When the staff asked if it tasted good, I told them about my feelings, but there was no reaction. If they improve the taste a little, it will be perfect, I recommend this place.

This place has been garnering rave reviews, and with a Mediterranean menu, that means a good selection of seafood, right? The restaurant itself isn't massive, but it's got a rather pleasant interior with high ceilings and plenty of light.

Food:
We went for a starter and two main courses. Unfortunately, we had to change our minds as the oysters and octopus were off the menu, which was a bit of a shame. We settled on the free-range chicken coxinha as a starter. It was a bit of a mixed bag, to be honest. The chicken filling was excellent, but the mashed potato inside was a bit of a let-down - a bit too dense and heavy for my liking.
For our mains, we had the lobster with rice, which was absolutely divine. The lobster was cooked to perfection, creamy, succulent, and the buttery flavour complemented the lobster beautifully. The rice was also a joy to eat, a generous portion, and a perfect accompaniment. The chorizo steak was a tad less impressive. The texture of the meat was a bit odd, almost like tuna, though it was well-chewed and had a good meaty flavour. Something about it just wasn't quite right, and I was rather kicking myself that the octopus wasn't available that day.

Service:

The service was top-notch. Our waiter was a cheerful and attentive chap, who even managed a few words in Russian, which was a nice touch. He looked after us well, and we felt very well looked after. The food came out quickly, and everything was lovely.

In conclusion:

Overall, this is a great spot for a gathering with friends or a family meal. Excellent service, lovely food with a couple of minor exceptions. I'd definitely recommend it and I'm sure we'll be back. A decent restaurant overall.

Disappointing experience. The food was heavily salted and ruined the flavor. The octopus itself was great but the pasta and sauce was particularly salty. Such a shame. I can't recommend.
