The highlight restaurant with huge portion of food. Every dishes are incredibly good especially fresh seafood. We come back directly the next day because the quality was there. The prices are really reasonable for the quantity on the plate.
Trust me, it worth the wait (15’ max)

If anyone had read my reviews before, you should know that I am quite picky and very few restaurants can earn my whole hearted recommendations to my friends and viewers. Now here it is I want to recommend. Cod da Saretta is at the edge of the Island of Ortigia. Need to walk 15-20 mins from the nearest car park (for avoiding ZTL - annoyed but not to be avoided). Place is basic (inside non-smoking). But I rated the atmosphere 5-star because we were sitting right opposite to the kitchen bench and can see all dishes people ordered (enhancing your appetite 😋). Three of us (M+2F) ordered FOUR dishes. BAD MISTAKE!!!! Not because of the taste, the portions were HUUUUGE! See photos for reference (most plates were 16 inch * 10 inches). The Mussels in tomato soup was so tasty and with the right touch of spiciness. I ordered this dish hundreds of times in my life and I can responsibly say this is by far the best taste and biggest portion I had EVER EVER! The seafood pasta was also very good but unfortunately I didn't have a real taste to it as it just got transferred almost instantly into my wife and daughter's tummy. Another favorite of mine which I am authorative enough to verdict is the Spaghetti Al Nero. Huge portion as a norm but the ink sauce was so THICK and tasty with super soft cuttle fish (I think it is rather than squid). The  Chef boss is Adriano and very gentle and cheerful.  All their staff speak good English and provide very good service! I also confirmed with them that their spaghetti is homemade!!! Last but not the least, make sure you carry a TOTALLY TOTALLY empty stomach to be there, otherwise do not blame me for not reminding you! 😋😉😎

Fantastic dinner, very nice manager,  overall the service and the food was incredible. Especially the food, we got grilled octopus, pasta with mixed seafood, and pasta with cuttlefish, everything was super delicious!! This place is a must visit if you are in syracuse

The portions were really generous, and the pasta with a seafood mix had so much seafood in it!

Very popular restaurant with a high rating. Not many tables and extremely hot both inside and out. Calamari was really good, scoglio pasta had lots of seafood, portion was huge as was sardine pasta. Portion sizes were very generous but food was good without being fantastic. Burger was enjoyed by son. Wine at €10 for a litre was nice enough.

Better places on Ortigia in our opinion.

This is probably the best pasta we’ve ever had outside of our own kitchen. Their signature dish fried cod fish is probably the softest fish you’ll ever taste, sided with sweet potatoes and French fries.
You sit on the street in small wooden tables that only make the whole experience that much better.

Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined to step into a place on Nobelvägen and eat a slice of torta pasqualina (or Easter pie, a specialty from my hometown) done right. Sure, it came at a price that would make any Genovese worth their salt scream in terror, but nostalgia is a cruel mistress. Kiosko is awesome. Whether you are looking for a drink (very nice wine selection, and love the mini spritz), for some food (tapas-style, which comes at a cost in Scandinavia) or for the handsome bartenders, this is the place to be. Good non-meat alternatives, fresh oysters (although I prefer them not drained of their briny juiciness) and bang-for-your-buck sandwiches. Will be back.

Sit down and have them serve you drinks and food. Simple dishes served without fuss while the ingredients and taste speak for themselves.

You will enjoy a good selection of specials, much of which comes from their own imports.

Not had the food but the vibe and drinks are great. Friendly staff also (aside from one guy who was quite rude when I asked if I could take the wifi code on my first visit as I didn’t have data on my phone so couldn’t contact my friend). But I’ve not seen him there since and everyone else has been incredibly wonderful.

I really liked this place. You enter and you feel like being surrounded by a cool & relaxed community of people. Good food, nice beer, great atmosphere. Would go back there next time I am visiting Malmö.
