Great meal in a very nice venue in DTLA. We enjoyed all of our dishes, especially the spinach bucatini and the street corn agnolotti pasta dishes.

The highlight might have been the desserts - the white chocolate mouse and the rum ice cream were such a satisfying way to finish our meal.

Our waitress Shae was extremely sweet and helpful and the service overall was efficient and effective.

The one negative was that they were out of a few dishes (like the duck).

The ambience and service are nice here, but the food doesn’t hit the spot. The food looks great, but the taste just isn’t there. Ordered the spinach bucatini and the pan seared scallops. The spinach bucatini looked amazing, but the noodles were undercooked and the taste was missing something. The scallops come with 4 and again they look amazing, but the scallops didn’t have much flavor. There’s no parking lot, but there is valet parking for $18.

One of the best dinner places with shareable plates for everyone!
We booked this place since we a local concert to watch in the late evening. The inside layout is amazing cozy and perfect for a date night. They even have a wine room with shelves and rows of wine, quite the look!
We sat down and got a couple drinks, I ordered an old fashioned and it was delicious, they really know how to make their drinks!
We ordered a handful of dishes, appetizers, mains, and some pasta. There were so many items that looked amazing it was tough to say no to any of them.
Their plates come out in shareable sizes and are perfect, a little taste of everything and that a perfect way to eat dinner. Everything tasted phenomenal and I truly mean phenomenal.
The service was great, they were always attentive and took care of us every step of the way.
We even finished with a little bit of desert. A perfect date night.
Check this place out, it’s an experience you won’t forget!

July 2024 - Party of 6 on a Saturday night. No wait due to our reservation. However, there were plenty of tables open both inside and outside during that time.

FYI they have an Operating Surcharge of 5.00%. It wasn't blatantly mentioned to us. Just magically appeared on our bill.

Food/Pricing - Russet Potato Gnocchi. $32.00 - Chewy and cheesey. Great choice if you enjoy mochi-like texture.

Spinach Bucatini. $28.00 - Creamy, perfectly al dente, and delicious. This is a must try.

Roasted Chicken. $40.00 - The chicken was slightly dry. I wish it were a bit more moist, especially for the price. Other than that, the sauce it came with went great with the potatoes underneath and with the chicken itself. The skin was yummy but would have been better if it was more crispy.

Charcoal Grilled Mackerel. $42.00 - If you like fish, this is a dish for you. The sauce was slightly sour but I very much enjoyed it.

Potatoes. $11.00 - Just a heads up, these same potatoes are under the chicken. So if you order the roasted chicken, I don't feel it's necessary to order separate side of potatoes. I did enjoy them nonetheless. They were crunchy and hot.

GG17 Failla Olivet Chardonnay 2022. $110.00 - Not too sweet, not too dry. Perfectly matched our dinner.

Service/Ambiance - They don't provide a complimentary dessert for special occasions but if you order a dessert they'll put a candle on it. Our server had slight trouble with remembering our order but ultimately everything came out correctly and the staff was very prompt. Water was refilled quickly (I much appreciated that).

Parking - Highly recommend parking at the Broad structure, entrance is on 2nd st. With validation the parking ended up being $8.41. Remember to bring your parking stub to get validation from the restaurant!! Easy access to the restaurant from there, just take the elevator up to floor *1 and the place is to your right 😊.

Unquestionably, one of the best meals I've ever had. And to say the star of the show was a bowl of tomato soup, sounds ridiculous, but it is transcendent! I will forever dream about this bowl of soup and hope to one day be able to return for one more spoonful. It was unlike any bowl of tomato soup I've ever had. It was light and refreshing, and filled my body and soul with utter joy!
I do love a grilled salad, and the grilled iceberg lettuce with baked cod did not disappoint. The two elements with what initially appeared to be potato wedges, turned out to be light and flaky pastry. I may have licked my plate!
The struva with duck liver was crispy and savory, creamy and delectable. We had to stop ourselves from having just one, they are that good.
The friendly staff, the warm environment, and the unique and tasty cocktails made for a perfect final meal in Stockholm. And it's one of the reasons I'll be returning just as soon as I can. If there had been a cookbook in English with that soup recipe inside, I would have certainly brought that home with me to try my best at recreating those flavors. I highly recommend the Struva with duck liver, especially delightful when generously topped with Parmesan cheese! We had a great dinner here. Service was amazing - really warm, attentive and personable. Soda pop cocktail also really nice (my husband says it's the best cocktail he's ever had). Food is artfully done and quite creative - standouts would be the green tomato soup (creamy while still light and full of flavour) and the thinly sliced beef with artichokes (so umami).

This was such an unforgettable culinary experience, a perfect combination of flavours, mixing of ingredients , coupled with exquisite presentation. We were a group of three who ordered various dishes, all shared which maximised our ability to try as many dishes as possible. Every dish WOW’ed us.
To top it off; attentive service and great ambiance. Great value for money too - the food is exquisite.

Hyped by the recommendations online and the great rating on Google I was really excited to try out this seemingly high class restaurant.
And yes, on the surface everything appeard to be perfect. The location is designed very stylishly and classy, the staff is well trained and accommodating, the cocktails are delicious (!) and the presentation of the food is very inviting.

But were it failed for me was the actual food itself, the flavours, the most important part about a restaurant.

As recommended I ordered 1 dish from each of the 4 groups (snack, starter, main, dessert).

As a snack I went for the signature hasselback potatoes. As mentioned the presentation was delightful and I had high hopes for these ones so you can imagine my disappointment when I bit into the first one and tasted... barely anything. The potatoes were cold (I guess that's a choice) hard and chewy and the only flavour came from the sour cream.
I thought maybe the chef just had a bad day but the few low-rating-reviews on here agree with me so I am not the only one.

Next the lemon cured mackerel.
I could kind of taste the idea behind the dish but even for me as a salt lover this dish was almost inedible because it was so salty. I know a lot of people who couldn't have finished it.

As my main I chose the pork chop which tasted alright but not special and the mix of different ingredients didn't work together very well for me.

The dessert was good but you can't really mess up ice cream and berries.

I really don't know if I caught a bad day, if my taste works differently from most reviewers or if everyone simply thinks they have to give 5 stars because it's a posh restaurant with fancy looking and sounding food.

Very disappointing and not worth the money (except for the cocktails!).
