Café Rojo is an amazing place to eat and chat with friends. The food, staff, and location are incredible, with the menu bilingual in Spanish and English. They have several in house sauces that pair with their delicious dishes and an astounding array of dessert. The main entrees are a choose-your-own-combo style, where you choose a base and topping, then extras if youd like. The menu marks which items are vegan, making it very easy to navigate!

We Googled good food near me and found this place. It was very quaint. The waiter was excellent in offering food selections. He explained which sauces would best compliment our meals. It was fantastic! I had given up on finding food here that I really enjoyed.

Cafe Rojo was absolutely amazing from the vibe, the service, the food and the atmosphere.  I got a smoke trout bowl with a side of shiitake mushrooms!  I loved every bit of it and left very full!  Highly recommend to any tourist looking for a delicious meal on a budget!

Here is a cosy little cafe that serves very good Asian dishes. It is a house turned into a restaurant and as you walk in, you feel very good about the place. I ordered their soup of the day and trout for the main dish. They were both good. The service was very nice, though I did not like the fact that the boy server's finger was touching the food as he was placing it in front of me. Overall, it is a good place to have good food.

I went there for lunch and dinner whilst in San José. A gem of a place. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The atmosphere was so relaxing. The food was very good. Defined you should go. Many vegetarian and vegan options.
