We had a wonderful time here. We came for a birthday celebration. The service was top notch as was the food. We rarely see such pretty food. We had a good time here and it was very well worth the visit.
My only nitpick was that we were sat at the end, close to the toilet near the frying/cooking end of the open kitchen. The fumes from the cooking and smoking irritated my eyes a lot throughout the dinner. I accept it was the nature of an open kitchen concept but maybe there could be a way to increase the extraction fan speed.

We, a family of 5, had dinner at Verso for a birthday celebration. Excellent location,
It’s facing the piazza Duomo, just a stone’s throw from where we stayed in Milan.  We communicated with the restaurant beforehand and requested for a table with some privacy. The restaurant was very thoughtful to arrange for us a private room and a little complimentary birthday cake… thank you!!! It’s absolutely commensurate with its Michelin-starred ratings. Service was spot-on. Staff were all friendly without being pushy or over-attentive.

We went for the tasting menu and add 2 more off-menu surprise dishes. The dishes were not only aesthetically appealing but also tasty with bold flavors. The king crab spaghetti with finger lime was definitely the winner that evening. The pungent marasciuoli and the citrus flavor of finger lime first brought a punch to your palate but were soon matched & balanced with the sweetness of king crab. The shortbread, mushroom ravioli & the pigeon were also phenomenal. Compliments to the chef for such a wonderful feast.

I have been to numerous three and two starred restaurants and Verso still pleasantly surprised me, from the taste and presentation of dishes to the attentive service. Especially liked how they made the best use of local ingredients instead of trying to meet the Michelin standard and lose its soul. It was the highlight of my trip in Italy.
