The four course menu actually includes three free small dishes. The sequence of the food is innovative, original and delicious. We spent about two hours. The drink menu is also well curated.

At the beginning, I was a bit underwhelmed by the service because there was no cloakroom. But at the end, I find out there is no service charge and realised it is a casual restaurant. And I immediately felt sorry for my earlier impression. For the price you paid, it is amazing. - I don’t know if I ever want to go to restaurant that charges 15% of service charge anymore in London. 🥲🥲🥲🥲

Definitely worth a visit if you are in Lyon! They are also one of the two options you have to claim the Amex global dining reward. And I think the value for money is best here!

My partner and I enjoyed the degustation option on the menu. The staff were incredibly accommodating to us and did an amazing job of describing the food to us in English. We asked the sommelier to help us with pairing which were all perfect. Overall an outstanding food and wine experience. Highly recommend if visiting Lyon. Thank you

For the first time in my life I wanted to leave a restaurant immediately: unwelcoming, bad attitude. The first two courses of the tasting menu were overflowing with mayonnaise. In the third course, where there should have been morels, as stated in the menu and as they were presented in other plates, they were so microscopic that only sauce remained in the consistency of soup, to which two pieces of bread were served. When I tried to ask the waiters passing by our table to change my plate for a standard portion of this tasting menu, they passed by, not noticing me or not hearing me, since the music was very loud in the room. Nevertheless, the sommelier came up to me and after listening to my request, instead of helping to resolve the problem, began to loudly scold me for the whole room, attracting the attention of visitors sitting at neighboring tables, that “this is a tasting menu” and that mushrooms are not the main thing in it. When I insisted on the standard presentation of the dish, she began to object to me even louder, saying that she did not understand what I wanted, ending her performance for the public with the phrase: "Do you want the dish to have huge mushrooms?" After that, all desire to stay in this place and continue the romantic evening in the city of Lyon, where we had come specifically to spend our first evening in this restaurant, disappeared.

I brought guests to Lyon for lunch here on a very hot day, and it was one of the highlights of their trip. Food was fresh, delicious and creative, wine was delicious. Everyone was extremely kind and helpful. Great vibes can’t wait to go back!

It was a very special dinning experience. My friend brought us to this one of his favourite restaurants. The restaurant is super sweet and creative offered our friends’ vegetarian option as they are vegetarian. And I really enjoyed the fish cake as they recommended. They waiters are super friendly and recommended us some other restaurants to try in Lyon.
Overall, I really enjoyed Regain, would highly recommend! :)
