It was an indescribable overall experience at De Vier! The food was very tasty, flavors combined with finesse and skill to make something really good! The wine selection leaves nothing to be desired. The staff and the owner are incredibly courteous and nice! The atmosphere is just right to make the evening unforgettable! The restaurant can only be recommended to everyone and we are very happy to have gotten a table! Hope we will come back one day and enjoy another meal there :)

Really love that it’s small and intimate and you can sit on the pavement of a quiet street with a little stream. It’s a magical setting. Staff are just lovely and while we were just in the mood for a burger it was the perfect burger! Must have the roast Camembert cherry tomato starter !!

OMG…what a Stellenbosch gem! We had heard rave reviews and had to try during our recent visit to the region. Being foodies we had high expectations and we were not disappointed. The wine list was extensive, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, staff professional and knowledgeable, and the menu delightful and unique. Everything we tasted was a culinary delight. Don’t miss this charming gourmet treat when in Stellenbosch!

A lovey restaurant with delicious food.
They have a wide selection of wines.

We opted for for the baked camembert to share and a Sirloin steak with brandy and mushroom sauce for a main. The steak was delicious, very tasty and well cooked.

Atmosphere is good too. Has seating outside too although we opted to sit inside which was cozy.

We loved the restaurant’s concept. A concise menu with excellent options and fantastic flavors. The ambiance of the restaurant is unique and welcoming. Pairing the meal with a wine suggestion is an incredible experience, given the quality and variety of the wine list. We absolutely loved it and highly recommend it!
