Had a 2 course meal here. We wanted a 3 course but we just couldn't get past the 2nd course. The pastas we had on the primi (1st course) were very good. We accepted the "flavors will blow our mind" recommendations by our server regarding our secondi (2nd course). We received our 2nd course and we couldn't go past 2 bites. We were very disappointed. They just didn't taste good. The quail dish was bland and colorless. The pork cheek was presented as this brown meat puddle reminiscent of... well, look at the photo. The flavors were akin to spoiling ingredients. The manager asked us what was wrong with the food and we stated that the food was not edible. We were going to throw up if we ate any more. We asked for the check so we can pay and move on to something more delicious. We still had to pay for the secondi. The manager probably thought we didn't know good Italian food as he seemed to speak down to us. Having travelled to more than 60 countries and dined in excellent restaurants around the world, this is a restaurant I would completely avoid.

If you still choose to still try this restaurant, we recommend the pastas we had (the 2 dishes had truffle in them) but we wouldn't recommend their secondi options.

The service was okay. Broken English but we were able to have some level of comfort while being there. Of course, we were in Italy so I understand that there may be times of challenging communication. We're the visitors so we're happy to experience their culture.

The atmosphere was nothing special. The restaurant was clean. We were unfortunately seated right in front of the bathroom so we would see everything every time someone goes in and out of the bathroom.

A True Gem off of Veneto near Borghesi garden

Today marks our second visit to Goliardi, and it’s safe to say we’re hooked. This Piedmontese restaurant is a treasure. The pasta is nothing short of extraordinary – fresh, creative, and crafted with exceptional care and quality. Every dish feels like a masterpiece, bursting with unforgettable flavors.

The wine selection is expertly curated, elevating the dining experience, and the service is warm and attentive, making you feel like a valued guest. The atmosphere is unpretentious but charming. Goliardi isn’t just a meal; it’s an experience that lingers long after you leave.

We can’t wait to return – and judging by the sheer excellence of every detail, it won’t be long before we do.

l'atmosfera e il cibo erano perfetti!

We absolutely enjoyed our dinner and the tables on the sidewalk/street were amazing in the evening air!

Highly recommend Goliardi Roma!  The white truffle pasta was the best I have ever had in my life!!  The beef dinner and the ribs are delicious!  The deserts are incredible as well!  Can’t go wrong with Goliardi Roma!!

The food is great, I love it. Good Bread and the ribs are Amazing. Its a cozy place and it looks great!
Fast service and the waiter is very nice.

Nice place and good food. Very good dish called “I Gobbi”. It was a bit expensive even though we shared a few dishes. Staff was really nice and welcoming.
