After a long journey, we arrived at the Ritz-Carlton Santiago only to be told at check-in that there was no running water—meaning no working toilets, no air conditioning, and no basic amenities in the room. Instead of being upfront, they kept giving us false timelines, claiming the issue would be resolved within hours. Had they been honest from the start, we would have made alternative arrangements.

It wasn’t until midnight—after hours of misleading updates—that they finally admitted they had no idea when water would be restored and moved us to the W. By that point, we had to be up early for our onward flight, making the entire situation even more frustrating.

To make matters worse, their customer service has been completely unresponsive since. No follow-up, no proper apology, just silence. Absolutely unacceptable for a hotel of this supposed caliber. Would not recommend.

Great locations for restaurants and shopping. Our room had a good view of the city and the noise from the city was minimal. We had breakfast there everyday and dinner on one of the nights as well. The food and service was great and I would recommend the stay and the restaurant

The room was unbearably hot and the AC was working but not responding. We reported the situation, but it was not remedied. Two very uncomfortable nights. The ‘deluxe’ room was quite small and the bathroom was VERY small. Not the luxury hotel experience we expected and have had from RC in the past. We won’t return.

Nice location, great staff and typical Ritz Carlton Vibes. Hotel is a little aged, room did not cool down fast but it did not affect us. Very clean, worth going.

the location is great, there are many restaurants, cafes around, a great view from the 15th floor, a good spa and pool. But the service is not very good, the room stock is old, the staff is inattentive and I would say careless. The front desk is not welcoming at all, in short, it’s not the Ritz, it’s something like it, everyone is busy with their own affairs. many staff don't know English, I asked for a shaving kit, they brought another kit...  and of course you can't compare it to the Ritz in Italy, it's not even close, where their guests are loved and appreciated. and here it's just a hotel.
