We had an incredible experience here at Olivo. All 8 in our party opted for the tasting menu, and it did not disappoint. Every course was amazing and SO beautifully presented! Two in our group are gluten free and one has a shellfish allergy, and they were able to accommodate them with some slight tweaks to the dishes. The service was also incredible, I highly recommend it.

I set up a reservation for Olivo a few months ago while we were planning our trip from the US. As we were preparing to walk to the restaurant tonight, I was reviewing some of the pictures others had submitted with their reviews and knew we were in for something very special. She got the 4 course summer menu while I elected to get the 5 course. The only thing surpassing the presentation was the flavor of every delicious bite. We’ve shared some very memorable meals over the years and this one will definitely be added to that list. The service was excellent from the very moment we checked in.
If all that wasn’t enough, enjoying a world class meal with a view to match took it all over the top. If you have something special to celebrate, I couldn’t recommend Olivo any stronger.

This is an incredible restaurant with absolutely delicious food. I did the 6 course menu and everything was absolutely stunning as was the service and atmosphere. You could have told me it was a 2-star Michelin and I would have believed it!

Great experience! Amazing 6 course menu at 130 chf, exactly the right quantity of food. The cocktails are also mastered for a reasonable price.
One advice though is to not go for the truffles, they tend to add more digits to the bill than they add truffle taste to the meal.

We arrived at 7 pm ordered a salad, an appetizer and a main. They brought our salad 1 hour later.

1 hour 45 minutes later we had to ask when our appetizer was coming which was met with indifference.

We finally got our main at 9 pm. The service was the worst we ever had they did not even bring us water which was what we were drinking. Although the young women were pleasant they ignored us entirely. By the time we got our main 2 hours later we no longer had an appetite! We also had to share our knife because they just continued to ignore us! I would not recommend this restaurant!!

This does not leave a very good impression of Lucerne in our mind. This was supposed to be a top restaurant. The bread was good the rest average.

Last night we dined at La Scala at the Montana Art Deco Hotel. This was top drawer!! The service the ambiance and the food!! We will never come back here!!’
