Lai Ching Heen totally lived up to its reputation as two Michelin stars restaurant. Everything was perfect from the moment you stepped into the restaurant. The staffs were courteous and very attentive. They let me ordered half portion so I can tried out more dishes. All of them were amazing, so delicious. They were the pinnacles of Cantonese cuisine.

This restaurant is located inside the Regent Hotel, with a narrow view on the waterfront, pleasant but not impressive. We appreciated the selection of champagne and wine available by glass. Food was good without being exceptional as we would have expected. Dessert was really ordinary and disappointing. Overall a delightful Christmas Eve dinner experience.

My wife grew up eating here, so I came with no expectations.
The level of service is impeccable. We currently have some dietary restrictions and they came up with a solution quite promptly after we were seated.
The staffs attention to detail and caring attitude is something that I wish some restaurants should learn from.
All in all we had a great lunch with a great view and I hope to eat here again.

Very good service, the waiter automatically offered to reduce portion size to meet the number of people at the table. For example, they reduced the pork dumplings from 4 to three so we all just have one piece, allowing us to order more to sample their food. Price adjusted proportionately. The suckling pig is good, roasted farm duck and roasted pigeon definitely worth a try.

Very attentive service. I love the pigeon and the signature crab. Others are normal. I wouldn’t recommend the crispy chicken as it tastes just average and took so long for it to serve (I think we waited around 45 mins). Lovely view by the harbour. Advance reservation is recommended.
