The airport iteration of this popular Hong Kong fast food chain. Our usual order is sweet and sour pork (but they didn’t have it so we ordered chicken), fried rice with shrimp and pork, sliced beef with vegetables. Portions are generous and the food is delicious as always. Prices are reasonable. Definitely recommended !

We stopped by Duddell’s at Hong Kong Airport for a quick bite before heading to the boarding gate. We ordered Pork & Shrimp Dumplings, Sui Kow Dumplings with Egg Noodle Soup, Sautéed Seasonal Vegetable ‘Kai Lan’ and Iced Milk Tea. The noodles and dumplings tasted delicious and flavourful. We enjoyed all the dishes served… yummy!

I was curious to try this famous place - great that they had a grab and go location at the airport. Not sure what they are known for... Got the har gow (shrimp dumplings) and the fish ball noodle soup. Wasn't terribly excited about the dumplings. Fish balls had a nice bounce/ mouthfeel and noodles and soup tasted good.
Food was ready in 10 minutes. Plenty of seating especially if you don't mind a big communal table or walk a little further away.

Brought home a Duddell's Roast Goose from Hong Kong Airport, as recommended by other social media posts. You purchase It after security and immigration check in is done. It comes neatly packed in a box. The weight was somewhat heavier than I expected, about a kg. You can pay and leave the box with the staff at the counter while you walk around. I asked the staff if they could chop the goose for me and they said they could but would no longer pack it nicely in the carry on box. They were very enthusiastic to do it, more work I guess. Cost HK$900. The box travelled well, had no smell and the airline crew had no issues with it. I passed through local customs with it in full sight with no problems as well. At home, we realised the goose was much larger than ducks and a lot fatter. We had to carve it with scissors then heat it up gently in the oven (instructions in the box). It fed 7 of us in the family and we quite enjoyed it. But the cleaning up, because of the fat, was tedious and took away some of the joy. Our final conclusion was that it's better just to keep roast goose a HK treat, we we get to enjoy once in a while.
