Fantastic and intimate experience- it only sits 6 people so you really feel like one with your food. The chef was brilliant and we really enjoyed our meal. It’s clear why it has a Michelin star- thank you for the great meal!

We had an absolutely mind blowing meal here. We dined on a holiday, so were the only two people there. Amazing sequence of dishes featuring all local (truely local) Kyoto and Japanese ingredients. Amazing and affordable wines too. Will be back!

One of if not the most amazing meal I’ve ever had! It was just us in the restaurant, and the chef was incredibly kind and helped explain each course in depth. The food was otherworldly, and each course was so unique and perfect. This is a must if you want a nice dinner in Kyoto, worth every dollar and more! 11/10

wonderful chef and team that served me. i had a great time enjoying authentic kyoto cuisine (i was assured by a regular who dined with me that same evening). limited english but they did their best translation with google translate. highly recommend! you can visit the public onsen nearby afterwards
