Fantastic food. Really great attention to detail. The staff was attentive. I saw some of the negative reviews and was initially hesitant. But the courses were great, very thoughtfully prepared. We chatted with staff and then explained all the dishes and everything made so much sense and was delicious. Would recommend if you want a great Japanese eating experience.

At short notice we were able to book two counter seats at this fantastic restaurant. Hidden away in its own private alley you would easily miss it if you didn't know where it is. The service was impeccable, each dish beautifully presented and introduced. At our request we were given sake pairings with each of our ten courses and still came out with a very reasonable bill. Definitely arrive hungry as the dishes whilst delicate are still very filling.

As the menu changes daily we will definitely visit again next time we are in Kyoto.

I made a sudden reservation and had a quite satisfactory lunch. Although my group was somewhat noisy, which didn't align with the restaurant's desired atmosphere, the staff did their best to accommodate us. Through this review, I extend my apologies and gratitude.

The family went here for a special Keiseki traditional dinner and it was impeccable! Not only was it so beautifully done and designed, service was attentive and so friendly. Food was delicious and oh my we were so full afterwards!! The small quantities allowed us to try so many new flavors and cooking styles and still left us feeling so full we had to go on a long walk afterwards 🤭! Loved this place and highly recommend you check it out, you won’t regret it!
