Truly magical and memorable evening. There'a so much care and attention that goes into each dish from start to finish. The service is outstanding. My husband and I had a small wedding party when we got married 11 years ago, and the manager still remembered us all those years later. We can't wait to return for another celebratory occasion.

Great place and delicious food. Michelin worthy. Also has outside seating with a view of the lake. Big minus is that they allow dogs on the outside area, that is just not acceptable for a restaurant

知り合いから見たことないようなお料理が出てくると教えてもらい、2ヶ月前くらいからこの日を楽しみにしていました(^^)ミシュランガイド奈良に3年連続掲載されていて、平日でも人気です！池の目の前にあるお店なので開放感もありロケーションも抜群。

今回予約していたコースは、メインが岐阜飛騨牛のあやめ池というコース。フランスのシャンパンで乾杯し、コースで使用するお野菜たちの紹介がありました。もうワクワクがとまりません。

もうまず最初のアミューズからオクラの花って食べれるんや！とか、お菓子のおっとっとを模しているものに反応したりと、庶民はひとつひとつ感動がとまりません。どれも本当に美しくて美味しいですね。
あなご・フォアグラって書いてあると、あなごにフォアグラがのってるのをイメージしますが、もちろん凡人の想像を遥かに超えてきます。瞬間燻製されていて華やかな登場。出てきたのはケーキみたいなビジュアルで、香りも味も素晴らしく、添えてあった栗も秋を感じられてよかったです。
こちらのパンも美味しいのですが、驚きはテラスで漬けていたという紫蘇のバター。ハーブのバターは比較的馴染みもありますが、紫蘇は酸味もあって新しかったです！夫が気に入っておかわりしてました。

続いて大和丸なす。なすをふんだんに使っているとおっしゃっていましたが、生クリームを使用した周りの岩みたいな見た目のもの、どうやったらこうなるんだろうと疑問だらけ。色んなジャンルのお料理がありますが、フレンチは特に一皿がアートのようで、縁遠い芸術作品のように思えるのに、食べると素材をしっかり味わえて、ちょっと懐かしいような気持ちになるのが不思議です。今回いただいたコースの中で、この丸なすが1番印象的でした！
お魚はカサゴ、お肉は飛騨牛。シンプルに美味しいものは美味しいです。そしてやっぱりフレンチはソースの味わいが最高ですね！お肉のエシャロットを使ったソースが特に好みでした。

お口直しの小さなデザート、そして梨のデザートと共に、お誕生日おめでとうプレート。金平糖が可愛かったです。梨は鳥取県の新甘泉。梨狩りで食べに行った大好きな梨。プティフールもアフタヌーンティーのような素敵なスイーツが出てきて満喫しました。ほうじ茶のブリュレがお気に入り。
鷦鷯シェフにもお会いできてうれしかったです。またシェフのお料理を目的に奈良に来たいと思いました。スタッフさんの接客も終始素晴らしく居心地よく、お誕生日や記念日にもとってもオススメです！

I've been looking forward to this day for about two months since a friend of mine told me that they'd be serving dishes I've never seen before (^^) It's been featured in the Michelin Guide Nara for three years in a row, and it's popular even on weekdays. is! The store is right in front of the pond, so it has an open feel and is in a great location.

The course I had booked this time was the Gifu Hida Beef Ayameike course. There was a toast with French champagne and an introduction to the vegetables used in the course. I can't stop being excited.

You can already eat okra flowers from the first amuse! Or reacting to something that imitates the Otto sweets, the common people can't stop being moved by each and every one of them. Everything looks really beautiful and delicious.
When I hear the words conger eel and foie gras, I imagine foie gras on conger eel, but of course it goes far beyond what the average person would imagine. It is instantly smoked and has a gorgeous appearance. What came out looked like a cake, had a wonderful aroma and taste, and the chestnuts that came with it were a nice touch of autumn.
The bread here is delicious, but what surprised me was the perilla butter that was pickled on the terrace. Herb butter is relatively familiar, but shiso has a sour taste and is new! My husband liked it so much that he ordered a second helping.

Next is Yamatomaru eggplant. You mentioned that you used a lot of eggplant, but I was wondering how you could make it look like the rock-like surroundings made of fresh cream. There are many different genres of cuisine, but with French cuisine, each dish in particular is like a piece of art, and although it may seem like a distant work of art, when you eat it, you can really taste the ingredients and it's strange how it makes you feel a little nostalgic. Among the courses I received this time, this round eggplant was the most impressive!
The fish is rockfish and the meat is Hida beef. Simple and delicious food is delicious. And of course the taste of French sauce is the best! I especially liked the sauce made with shallot meat.

A happy birthday plate with a small palate cleansing dessert and a pear dessert. The konpeito was cute. The pears are from Shinkansen in Tottori Prefecture. My favorite pear that I went to eat while pear picking. I enjoyed the petit fours as well, as they served lovely sweets like afternoon tea. My favorite is the hojicha brûlée.
I was also happy to meet Chef Oshie. I also wanted to come to Nara to enjoy the chef's cooking. The staff's customer service is excellent from start to finish, making you feel comfortable, and it's highly recommended for birthdays and anniversaries!

La Terrasse “irisée” （ラ・テラス “イリゼ”）は、奈良市あやめ池北にある、菖蒲北池に面したフランス料理店です。『虹色のテラス』という素敵な名前に相応しく、ミシュランガイド奈良に3年連続一つ星レストランとして掲載され、またゴエ・エ・ミヨ（Gault & Millau）2024に3トック（素晴らしいレストラン）として初掲載された、高い実力を持ったフランス料理店として知られています。

愛犬同伴可能条件としては、テラス席なら愛犬同伴可能です。店内は不可です。また雨天時は利用ができません。気候が良い時節であれば、店内よりも風を感じられるテラス席の方が雰囲気を感じられて良いかもしれません。しろくまんらが伺った10月初旬のディナータイムは、寒さを感じるくらいで、追加で一枚羽織る必要があるくらいでした。愛犬を同伴する際には、予約の際にお店に詳細をご確認ください。

今回注文したのは、13000円のコースを選択し、飲み物はグラスシャンパンと、優しい梨の甘味が楽しめる梨のノンアルコールカクテルなどを数杯いただきました。なお、お食事が始まる前にその日に使われる奈良および各地の厳選された野菜類の説明をいただいたことで、これから饗されるお食事の期待値が上がりました。
その日のアミューズは、大和ポークの蓮根ハサミ揚げ・かぼちゃナッツスープ・甘エビ炒めで、甘エビ炒めは上品な甘さが楽しむことができ、対照的に大和ポークの蓮根ハサミ揚げはスナック感溢れる親しみやすさがありました。オードブルはカツオの炙りで、カツオの切り身の下に潜ませてある酢飯と一緒にいただくと、様々な食感や味わいが感じられる楽しい逸品でした。スープは茄子のクリームコロッケとミネストローネで、茄子とクリームの優しい味わいを堪能できました。ポワソンはレンコダイのアサリスープで、今回のコースの中で一番良かったと思ったお食事でした。鯛とアサリの相性がとにかく抜群で、澄んだ味わいがとても感動的なものでした。ヴィアンドは黒毛和牛のステーキで、ステーキそのものの火入れや肉質はもちろんのこと、添えてある野菜がとにかく美味しく感じました。デセールは柿と大和コーラのブランマンジェ、いちじくとフロマージュブラン、クレームブリュレという、どれもこれも甲乙つけがたい品々が入れ替わり立ち替わり登場し、完全にとどめを刺しにきているなという印象でした。
とにかく始まりから終わりまで、とても満足感が高いお食事でした。次に来訪することがありましたら、ぜひワインとのペアリングで改めて楽しんでみたいと思います。

La Terrasse “irisée” (La Terrasse “irisée”) is a French restaurant facing Shobukitaike in Ayameikekita, Nara City. As befits the lovely name “Rainbow Terrace,” it has been listed as a one-star restaurant in the Michelin Guide Nara for three consecutive years, and was also listed for the first time in Gault & Millau 2024 as a 3-star restaurant (great restaurant). It is known as a highly skilled French restaurant.

As for the conditions for bringing your dog along, you can bring your dog along if you are seated on the terrace. Not allowed inside the store. Also, it cannot be used during rainy days. If the weather is nice, it may be better to sit on the terrace where you can feel the breeze than inside. When Shirokuman and others visited for dinner in early October, it was so cold that we needed to wear an extra layer. If you are bringing your dog with you, please check with the restaurant for details when making your reservation.

This time, I chose the 13,000 yen course and had several drinks, including a glass of champagne and a non-alcoholic pear cocktail where you can enjoy the gentle sweetness of pears. Furthermore, before the meal began, we were given an explanation of the carefully selected vegetables from Nara and other regions that would be used that day, which raised our expectations for the meal we were about to enjoy.
The amuse of the day was fried Yamato pork with lotus root scissors, pumpkin nut soup, and stir-fried sweet shrimp.The stir-fried sweet shrimp had an elegant sweetness, while in contrast, the deep-fried Yamato pork with lotus root scissors had a familiar snack feel. There was a difference. The hors d'oeuvre was grilled bonito, and when eaten with the vinegared rice hidden under the bonito fillets, it was a delightful dish with a variety of textures and flavors. The soup was eggplant cream croquette and minestrone, and I was able to enjoy the gentle taste of eggplant and cream. The poisson was a clam soup with lotus sea bream, and I thought it was the best meal of the course. The combination of sea bream and clams was simply outstanding, and the clear flavor was very impressive. Viando is a Japanese black beef steak, and not only was the steak itself well-cooked and meaty, but the vegetables that came with it were delicious. For dessert, persimmon and Yamato Cola blancmange, fig and fromage blanc, and crème brûlée, all of which were hard to beat, appeared one after the other, giving me the impression that they were coming to deliver the final blow.
All in all, it was a very satisfying meal from start to finish. Next time I visit, I would like to try pairing with wine again.

I highly recommend visiting this restaurant when you visit Nara, whether or not you bring your dog with you.

I was able to spend my time there comfortably, and it was worth more than the price, including the hospitality from before I arrived until I left. This is a restaurant that I would recommend to others.
