Amazing food, amazing service, genuinely never had so much fun at a restaurant before. Everything was so well cooked, they describe what we are eating and the vegetables are so crisp and light to balance the fried skewers. We had the 16 skewer set and it was quite filling. The chef and the service staff were so helpful and polite and we can’t wait to come again.

We came as a group of 4 for the Omakase till stop option. Ambience was 💯💯 staff were super friendly too!

We enjoyed almost 23-24 skewers and we were sooo full beyond words! Key highlight for me were the salmon ikura, foie gras with zucchini, Uni and caviar and the wagyu sando!!

Located in a basement (B1 floor) with a narrow and not-so-clean corridor.
But the restaurant itself is great. I experienced an amazing 20-course dinner. Almost every course is tasty. The chef also recommends the best sauce for each course.
Overall a super nice experience.

Visiting the 1 Michelin-starred underground restaurant Kushikatsu Bon was the most pleasant gourmet surprise during my stay in Osaka! 🤩

Kushikatsu, or deep-fried battered skewers, is something I’ve rarely had the chance to enjoy in the world of Japanese food. Unlike the usual kushikatsu which are quintessential Japanese working-class food, Bon elevated the cuisine into a top-notch fine-dining experience✨Wagyu beef, caviar, sea urchin, black waffles, foie gras, fish, shrimp and ice-cream (how did they do it?!) were found in their skewers ❤️‍🔥Exquisite batter and flying technique behind the counter played an important role here. Bon serves you skewers on an omakase basis which lasts for around 20-30 in total - which doesn’t sound like a lot until you start eating them! 🤤

The service was remarkable too: After I finished my meal and was about to leave the restaurant, their waitress chased after me. It was then that I discovered they had prepared a nice little flower pot with a lovely handwritten card for me, knowing that I came with my husband 😳😳 She kept apologising for not gifting me earlier. Their heartwarming hospitality, on top of the outstanding skewers served, are why they deserved the Michelin star, or even more! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Reserved online in advance and selected the special meat skewer course. Dined at the counter where you can see the chefs prepare and deep fry the skewers. For each skewer they will recommend the sauce to pair with. The batter was light and crisp and did not feel greasy, ingredients were fresh and tasty. A lot of high grade ingredients were included in the course such as A5 wagyu, truffle, foie gras and caviar. The course took two hours finish, food and service was great.
