Went to Blue Note to watch Chihiro Yamanaka perform live, a dream come through for me! The service and atmosphere here are classy and professional, and the staff is very attentive and helpful. Most of them can speak some English too which helps if you are able foreigner like me. Food was better than I expected, and we ended up eating more than we thought we would while experiencing the performance. It's my first time to blue note, and it definitely will not be the last!

I had a fantastic time at Blue Note Tokyo!  Its a really nice space, with a cool entryway and a large lobby for coat and bag checks.  You then access the main club through a separate entrance and exit.  Theres a very high class vibe in the surrounding area and in the club itself.  They have a great lineup of artists, which makes me wish i was in Tokyo more often.

I didnt order a course meal as couldnt come super early, but the snacks and cocktails/mocktails are delicious.  The service was fantastic, and offered some ways to adjust seating to better accommodate a party of 5.

I highly recommend coming to Blue Note Tokyo for any jazz fans looking for a nice event to attend

It was my first time at the Blue note Tokyo. The reservation made was because there was vacant seats. I sat close to the stage, which made it possible for me to see the performers up close and personal.

Although the performance was not what I was expecting, I enjoyed watching the performances.

The problem I had there was the food.
We (2 people) ordered the set menu that served a 4 course meal. Also on top of that we had the drink (wine half bottle decanted) menu with fish and chips.

Every single menu was mediocre at best. The amuse amuse bouche, The salad (with fish?), reminded of food I would buy at a コンビニ。 The only difference was, that the dishes served were worse.

The fish from the fish'n chips was too oily and not fresh, - giving me the vibe that it was a frozen dish to start with. To be fair the chips was okay.

The main menu was something that would be served at Gusto's or Skylark. It was edible.
Desert, I just left it sitting there. I couldn't put it in my mouth. So sad.

The food in total (including the wine) cost around 30,000 yen. It really ruined my experience at the joint. I would strongly recommend people to stay as far as possible, or have something to eat before coming here, and just stick to water, or a bottle of beer.

The whole experience excluding the food, was 3-4 stars, but this totally would depend on who is performing that night. The vibe was good, and people were having a good time.

Some seats, after everyone sat down, barely allow you to see the performers on stage. Kind of like a lottery. Interiors, acoustics & services are good. A lot more spacious than blue note New York

I’ve been in Tokyo a long time and Blue Note was a place I always wanted to go. And I finally made it. And it did not disappoint. The setup is super cool, as you go down steps and feel like you’re walking into a secret society. There are tables in the middle and seats in the outside, which is where I would recommend sitting. The food was good but a bit expensive, but I’m not mad about it. The group that played, the Pacific Jazz Orchestra, was great. Such a cool and eclectic vibe, I suggest you come and try this place at least once.
