Been here 10 years ago and recently visited the place again, surprisingly well maintained and organised. A great place for morning walk and prayers. The souvenir shop and restaurants a plus point to the attraction.

Visited in October, of course with no flowers….so I had no impression of anything special….
To be considered that you paid 500 to enter…

Absolutely stunning. So much to see and reflect on. Gets busy as the day goes on, so best to come early. The entrance fee to the garden was something like ¥300-¥500.

A beautiful garden full of interesting displays of flowers. If you stick to the main route round, it can be done in forty-five minutes, or you can just meander down the winding paths.
You have to pay to enter, though the price is reasonable.
There is no access for people who use a wheelchair. There are lots of steps and slopes, so it may be challenging for people with walking difficulties.
There are no toilets in the garden, but you can access them in the Meiji Shrine area.
