This was one of the best tours I've ever been on. Our guide was exceptionally knowledgable and could answer complex questions in English. He was very kind, engaging and a bit funny too!

I wasn't expecting much as we approached the building, but after having been now to several other museums, its astonishing how many original artifacts are housed here; way more than at Tokyo National, proportionally.

A comparably small private museum, that makes up for its size by the free guided tour, the short Samurai demonstration and the chance to make photos in costumes. The exhibits are in very good condition and there is a lot of background information to each of it. I highly advise you to take one of the free English tours that start every 30-45 minutes. The staff is very friendly and motivated and will answer an question you might have.

I loved this place.
You get a one houre very informative, impressive and also funny tour and see lots of cool stuff.
You can also buy cool stuff there if you want.

One great thing about it is also that when you buy a ticket it is reusable. So we got there at 1815 but performances are shown only between 1400 and 1700. So we can come here on another day and watch the performance free of charge. 👍👍👍

Friendly staff and really enjoyable displays make this place a really enjoyable for learning about the history of Japan.
The tickets come with a free guided tour around the museum. Because it wasn't busy when we got there it became a private tour. The guides English was really good, being able to tell us about the displays and answer questions we had about them. Very relaxing and fun tour where you could try on some armours and swords for photo ops.
It was really an enjoyable experience and a place where you could buy armour or swords, among other souvenirs, to take home with you.

This place was very interesting. They kindly offered English tours at certain time intervals  and the information was great weather you were new to samurai or had a base knowledge. The tour guide was able to answers the groups questions and was very helpful. There was even certain parts of the tour where you were invited to try on replicas. There were also live 15 minute demonstrations later in the day that you could come back and attend if you kept your ticket from earlier.
They also sold interesting gifts in the gift shop. Including replica and real swords.
