Read online about the long waiting time and hence we came at 2pm Wed.
There was no queue and we proceeded to order at the counter and sat on a nearby table.
Ordered roast pork and char siew.
I enjoyed the roast pork but was not overwhelmed by it. Probably too much hype and expectation from the social media, and the Michelin.
Skin was very crispy though.
Char siew was not as tender as I have tried elsewhere. Probably this is more lean and the other place I’ve tried had more fat.
Overall a good experience and the price is definitely on the higher side.
Would I wait if there was a queue? Probably not.

Great food in a simple and authentic setting. Chicken rice at rm8 a set With large amount of chicken meat is a good deal.
Roast pork is the highlight. Crispy on the roasted skin and succulent every bite with mix of fat and lean sections of pork belly. At her m29 for one person's portion, One may consider not value for money, but quickly forgives it for its superior taste. Will return for.

Arrived 1135am, they only start trading from 12pm. Got a number and waiting till 12pm,need to queue and order at the counter. Got our meal at 1240pm, taste is very average,nothing tastes special,for me it is not worth for the wait and also the price. A lot of better options in KL,do not feel it is a must because of Michelin star. You can manage to use your time better instead of this.

Queue starts early, probably before the restaurant opens. Waited for about 15 minutes in line, ordered, found a seat in about 10 minutes, waited another 45 minutes before the food came. Price has gone way up since I last came here. First came here more than 15 years ago, before the michelin star.

Siew yok is still pretty good, feels like the taste wasn't as good as before but the fat is still melty. The only mistake I made was ordering charsiu instead of roast chicken, not only the charsiu was too fatty (I'm talking whole pieces of fat) but also you can find much better charsiu in many other places. The hot and sour vegetable soup is very good, cuts the greasy feeling too.

It was about RM108 for the two of us (one strip of siewyok is now RM29, the person taking our order recommended 2 strips when I said 2 pax).

The siewyok has a chunk cut off before it's served, maybe that's why the price and portion is a bit disproportionate. While the siewyok is still good, the price is a bit much since there are other places that serves pretty good siewyok and even charsiu too. With this price point and warm eating atmosphere we won't be back in a hurry.

I'd recommend ordering 1 strip of siewyok for 2 person and some roast chicken to balance the fat and lean, and the hot and sour vegetable soup.
