Queued for 1.5hours on a Saturday afternoon. Tastes good but not worth the long wait. They only use chicken egg, would be even better if they use duck! Despite the long wait and huge queues, they did not increase their prices. I give them 3 stars for taste but I up to 4 as they kept their price integrity. Barley drink is so good, fried chicken is also great appetizer while waiting

Ordered ckt with egg for 9rm. Other options are 8rm without egg and 12 for large. Not a long queue but still waited for 45min from 4 plus.

The plate just scream flavor. Not sure about wok hei it doesn't matter, the noodle is tasty, mildly spicy. Lup cheong and pork lard adds more savoriness to it. Egg and tao ge for the soft and crunch. 2 large prawns were bouncy. Hum was a little small but no harm.

Small plate though should had ordered the larger one.

I have known this place since the first time, around 20 years ago. The best kuey teow in town is the Jalan Siam Char Kuey Teow. The special taste with a charcoal aroma (wok hei touch) is the best you can find here. However, the queue is very long. I almost spent an hour waiting for it to be ready. He cooks one by one. I hope that next time I visit, I won’t have to stand in line for that long.

We found this place through several blogs that highly recommended it for Char Kway Teow in Georgetown. When we arrived, we were met with a long queue, but decided to wait. After nearly an hour, it was finally our turn.

The wait was absolutely worth it. The noodles were perfectly cooked with a delightful smokiness from the wok, the prawns were plump and juicy, and the Chinese sausages added a wonderful flavor.

If you’re in Georgetown, this spot is a must-visit for some truly fantastic Char Kway Teow.

Came here due to the hype. After waiting over an hour in line even though we came 6mins past 12 (opens at 12), have to say that it wasn't all up to it promised to be.

Given the fancy showmanship, the charcoal flair and the amount of fumes inhaled throughout the wait, there was basically no wok hei!

The flavour of the char kuay teow was nice, but it didn't give the wow factor that was expected. Definitely not worth the long wait.

The photos and flair was nice, but the overall taste unfortunately didn't measure up to the hype it has. I'm surprised they received a Michelin mention.
