Speakeasy vibe, futuristic with maybe 20 seats in the bar, walk-ins only. The seating for groups is in a recessed area a step down from the bar area, kind of like a sunken living room; to me that feature makes it ideal for small groups to chat in a cozier setting. We sat at one of the booths, was quite cramped though and your knees are basically knocking into one another if you lean forward even slightly.
Drinks were cool! We shared 4 drinks: Nighthawks, QOO, Polite Provisions, Oriental Sentiments (my favourite, really interesting without being overwhelming).

we were here last night 28 feb, it was an intimate space with a speakeasy vibe to catch up. couldn't find the entrance so we called and the female staff was quite friendly in directing us. the table beside us turnover-ed 3x in the time we were chatting and no one rushed us; the service was quite attentive as well in refilling our water + reccing drinks - generally making sure everything was ok. they also offered us blankets bc we were cold, which was so sweet. drinks are standard price for these type of cocktail bars in sg, around 25. def not a dive bar vibe which i appreciate for the ambience, great for catching up w the girls in the tg pagar area after dinner or smth. our fav drink was the jade drink on their cny menu

Was here on a Saturday evening. Entered the inconspicuous bar when it was almost 7PM, and sat till i left at 8PM. Plenty of seats when I entered, but the place was starting to be packed with people around 7:30PM.

I was here alone as a girl. I believe the bartender who attended to me was Pete. Very charismatic guy who explained the menu to me. Half-way through my drink, he asked if i was okay. As people started coming in, he got busier too, but kept his friendliness throughout the service.

I had the Nighthawks and Kick Artist Fix. Nighthawks was their version of an Espresso Martini. It was sweet, gradually getting bitter as the drink dwindles. Kick Artist Fix was recommended by a lovely staff, who had a high bun and tattoos, when I asked for “something sweet, but also strong”. I believe it was a Manhattan, but served together with a mini pancake that was slightly warm and tasted of maple syrup. They recommended to take a bite of the pancake, together with a sip of the drink. As it turned out, it was lovely together. The sweetness of the pancake complemented the bitterness of the drink.

As for the atmosphere, it was slightly intimate, contributed by the limited space, dim lights and great music. Overall, i quite enjoyed my experience as a girl who came here alone. They gave me a corner bar seat, so it was easy to get comfortable in my own space. However, they may ask you to move when it gets busier, which was okay for me. ☺️

It’s a small, cozy bar hidden on the side of Cook St. Look out for the four dots on the door; that’s the entrance to the bar. My friend and I arrived around 8 in the evening, and thankfully, it was not crowded. It started to get really packed from 9 PM onwards, so come early. They do not take reservations, only walk-ins, so I would suggest calling ahead if you’re coming with a bigger group. I would say it’s a pretty romantic place, and I would recommend it for date nights, but it can get noisy later in the evening with chatter and loud music, which I didn’t mind. We ordered some wings and mac and cheese; you can never go wrong with these dishes, so there’s not much to comment on. The Nighthawk was a pretty interesting and strong drink, so get it if you’re feeling bold.

Disappointed. I was happy with the drinks and service the first time I came here, but the 2nd time was terrible… the simple Bloody Mary was too sour and spicy, the bartender redone it for me but still tastes bad. My friend’s drink was not that great either, probably won’t come back…
