Ate here for lunch. Staff and food are excellent. For an Omakase, they provide a wide variety of tasty flavours and the food is filling too. Their signature uni pasta, part of the course, is also well recommended.

The food here is really top notch. It’s Omakase only and no a la carte. I had caviar and uni finger sandwiches to start. Really excellent. The truffle pasta was really tasty but subtly so.  The white fish ceviche was great too. The horse mackerel in a clam sauce was superb. The wagyu was a bit trite, competent, maybe even excellent, but overbalanced the meal. Desert was a joy either way little Magnums.

We visited Terra Tokyo Italian on Tras St to celebrate my wife's birthday. The overall atmosphere was calm and refined, though the interior was smaller than expected. Compared to other Michelin-starred restaurants, nothing particularly stood out.

For lunch, there were set menus and three types of omakase, with the omakase featuring different ingredients depending on the price. Wanting to keep it light, we opted for the entry-level menu and decided to pair it with champagne and white wine.

The recommended champagne and wine were decent, but I wish they had asked about our preferences or suggested something that would complement the meal better. I particularly enjoy Sauvignon Blanc, and it was disappointing that it wasn't part of the selection.

The food was a balanced fusion of Japanese and Italian cuisine, with nothing particularly lacking, but I felt the value for money could have been better. While I understand that the price reflects the cost of ingredients directly imported from Japan, it would have been nice if the dishes and ingredients told a more compelling story, as some other restaurants do. It wasn't a perfect meal,

They have just rolled out new, budget-friendly omakase-style menus with four to five courses. Lunch starts at $98++, while dinner is from $128++—pretty great for a Michelin-starred spot!

Ingredients are handpicked from both Italy and Japan, flown in up to four times a week to keep things fresh. This means the menu changes daily, depending on what's available from suppliers, which keeps things interesting.

The $128 lunch menu I tried was packed with highlights, like creamy Puglia Burrata with Prosciutto, a Bruschetta with Marinated Nishin and Ikura, and Ehime Madai Carpaccio with a Shiso Salsa Verde. The Signature Uni Pasta with Karasumi was indulgent, and the Iwate F1 Wagyu with gratinated potatoes and Gorgonzola was a standout. We ended with a refreshing Yoghurt Panna Cotta.

Read the fine print before reserving. They offer 3 omakase tiers (low mid high) with the same courses but differing ingredient qualities. For large parties of 4 and above, they will require you to choose the mid ($308++) or high ($408++) options.

We went with the mid tier omakase and enjoyed our 7 course meal. However, our servers struggled to highlight the premium ingredients used in the preparation of our dinner. Would probably stick to the lowest tier if given the option.
