The house band is all the money.
For us, it was  what kept us there.

Guitarist is an act on his own. Great young  guitarist who puts in an act and delivers flawless solos, with his own twist, on classic rock tracks.
A seasoned basist as solid as Gibraltar rock
Great drummer and a great vocalist (although if you are looking for a great English accent, well, you shouldn't come to Thailand) .

Service is what you would expect in a tourist infested industry. We didn't try any food.

The atmosphere is great. However, at some point, the sounds of other bars (with live music and similar tracks) are playing simultaneously with the band. As it is an open air venue within a market, the cacophony created by various music acts and large crowds,  can become too much.

If u visit Chiang Mai, Thailand, u have to go to the famous Boy Blue Bar above the Kalari Night Market. U will not be disappointed. Guest bands and the house band are awesome! Lively, entertaining, and engaging with the audience.
The bar has a wide assortment of beers, cocktails, and liquor. Great time for everyone.

Best live music bar in Chiang Mai. House band (on a Tuesday atleast) are excellent, covering classic rock anthems well. Beer Lao nice and cold.

Their live music was amazing! If you enjoy live rock music, I highly recommend visiting this place. When I went on a weekday, the show started around 8 PM, and there weren't many people there. If you prefer being in a crowd, I suggest arriving later. The beer prices were a bit steep, but it was worth it for the incredible live performance.

This place was super fun. The band had no business being this good. They were playing american rock music. The lead guitarist was honestly really good. It was hard to leave.
