We attended this excellent, wine-paired dinner here last night, on the invitation of one of Thailand's top meat importers. Wagyu Steakhouse is part of Twin Palms Hotel, very beautifully appointed, and offers great steaks with a full 5-star experience. We had a very nice evening 🙏

What a classy and upscale restaurant! Back in June, I had the Australian ‘Riverina’ lamb chops and loved every single bite. And to top it off, my favorite Blueberry Crème Brûlée—absolutely divine. Sorry for sharing this feedback late, but the experience was unforgettable! ❤️

Waitress had an attitude. Food was not great for the price. Australian wagyu steak tastes so cheap. Super disappointed. Honestly if the waitress had a better attitude I would’ve let the bad food go, but she was not nice. Every single time I tried to say I didnt want add ons she would look annoyed, so unnecessary. Fois gras tastes like straight pork fat, steak was not tender enough, soup was such small portion.

Superb dining here. I didnt make a reservation, so i had to wait 15 minutes, butcthey offered a cocktail and a small bite for the waiting. It exceeded my expectations. The vibe of the restaurant is splendid, the service up to EU standards, not pushy, friendly, not constantly upselling… refreshing to have waiters at your table in acceptable doses. 😉 you know what i mean…. Not 10 times asking how good it is and if i need something. Food came fast but they perfectly read your signs. When you are on your phone, they dont bother you with a question. They anticipate on any pictures you want to take, again without hassling you but presenting the dish immediate in an insta-friendly way. The food itself: i can tell you that the japanse wagyu doesnt need any sauce…. What the hell…. Delicious and voluptuous in taste. You pay for it… but it’s a piece of meat you don’t forget easily. The puree is soft as butter and the asparagus was crispy and perfectly seasoned. Desserts are simple but executed to perfection. If I had to give one remark: the doorman clearly was a bit hyped up. While waiting i got nervous from his constant going up and down the hall in front of my nose. And he clearly missed me coming in.  But i’m sure coming back during my stay in Pukhet here.

I discovered an incredible restaurant in Phuket with the best brunch I’ve ever had. While I’ve tried brunch at Catch Beach Club before, this new find was absolutely exceptional—the food was simply incredible! The dining experience here also was extraordinary, featuring a stunning dining room, an elegant bar, and an atmosphere that exudes majesty, making you feel as though you’re dining in a luxurious London restaurant. I can’t wait to return to both places again soon.
