I recently had the tasting menu at the restaurant and was thoroughly impressed. The Slow Cooked Beef Short Rib was particularly delectable, with its tender and melt-in-your-mouth texture. The Bolet Mushroom was also flavorful and creamy. The service was exceptional, and the city views were breathtaking. A nice fine dining restaurant with very nice views. They had enough service staffs to attend to you even when the restaurant is crowded. Being michelin starred, we came here to try on one night. Since we are just short time travellers, we did not exactly dress very well for it but luckily the staff were still nice.

Had the tasting menu and a bottle of red (which were recommended by them) and it was good. The tasting menu was a little pricey but it had all the proteins you want from fish to duck to lamb. We were overfed that night! And we thought that the menu could be adjusted a little to ensure that diners still have the appetite to continue. We were already full halfway through the 7-8 course meal and probably did not really enjoy the dishes fully at the end.

The dishes were actually nice, but could be better if they can play around with the ingredients a little more by cutting the quantity but add more flavors. It would be a 5 star if they could do that. Comparing to other similar restaurants we tried, I think they could do a little more given the price.

I would recommend that you only choose the tasting menu if you have a big appetite or really hungry. If not, suggest to choose other options which could be actually better.

My husband and I just had dinner at Mikla and had the best fine-dining experience on our entire 10-day visit to Istanbul. The food was absolutely beautiful and the portions were surprisingly generous, but even more so, the service was next-level. It is clear that everyone who works here is exceptionally well-trained in fine-dining service and they all made us feel so very welcomed. It was truly an unforgettable dinner service and we will surely be back on our next trip to this city of delicious food and beautiful restaurants.

Excellent views of the city, especially if you go at sunset. The bar is pretty good with a load of classic and signature cocktails on the menu, but perhaps too many as they were a bit hit or miss.
We also had the full tasting menu and wine pairing. The food was pretty good, although some courses weren't to our liking. The wine pairing was exceptional with every course.
My biggest complaint was the pacing - sometimes we'd get the next course immediately after the previous, sometimes there was quite a wait. The entire meal took 3 hours and whilst we were enjoying the view it felt like it dragged a bit and we had to ration our wine waiting out the next course.
Additionally, we were sat on the terrace and had a couple next to us chain smoking throughout the meal which detracted somewhat, although not enough for us to request a move to a table inside.

My recommendation would be to book a table for drinks and soak up the view, especially at sunset, and only go for a meal if you are really keen for a rooftop Michelin experience.

The food was very nice, all dishes, fishes, duck, lamb, very well cooked. Everything delicious. They also have a very nice view of Istanbul.
