The Neolokal was by far our best one star Michelin experience world wide.

The food was creative, yet deeply rooted in the history and geography of its origin country.
One fish was better than the other, only one lacked the aromas and exciting flavor combinations from all the other dishes. The bluefish was simply too fishy and overpowering.

The service was truly extraordinary however lacked in the very beginning of coordination.
This however was no problem, after a few minutes the team worked like a Swiss watch.

The view from the restaurant is stunning and the ambience is extremely cozy. We've spent 3 hours at the place and the time flew by like nothing.

We highly recommend you to visit the Neolokal !

We had a very nice dinner experience at Neolokal. We chose a regular and a vegetarian tasting menu each pair with premium wine pairing.  All the chosen wines are well pair and complement with the dishes.  Of the regular menu, the olive oil poached haddock and slow cook lamb were cooked to perfection, they both were tender and juicy. But our most favor dish definitely is the morel dumpling, the morel flavor were amusing and delicious.

The Spanish and egg dish was also very good but it was a bit overly salty for my taste.  I reflected this to our server and he immediately offer another dish to be made. We had politely declined since we are really full by that time.

Our view was also amazing, as we were seated outside overlooking the night view of Istanbul.  Overall we had an incredible experience at Neolokal.

Some friends and I did an extended layover in Istanbul so we could explore and enjoy Neolokal. Wow what an awesome City and an amazing tasting menu at Neolokal. The food was beautifully presented, the service was spectacular and the vibes were perfect.

Very nice restaurant the feeling that you get when you dine there is top notch! My personal belief is that for the price of the menu it should have one or two more courses.
