I like the place, really clean and tasty. They have daily home made menu, and you can see the prices for today. A bit expensive but the location is central thus it is acceptable. They are not offering complimentary salads, or didn’t bring for me do not know.

Beautifully made food. I couldn’t believe the lamb in the doner here would be so good. Beware of the prices though, portions for stuff on the counter are small and i finished with a bill of around $35. For a tourist looking to just try something authentic and good, it was worth it

Çiya is one of the best places on the Anatolian side of Istanbul to enjoy traditional Turkish cuisine.
Their meat dishes, kebabs, and all their meals are incredibly delicious.
We went to eat for dessert our last visit.
I highly recommend the quince dessert and the crispy pumpkin dessert.
As always, the service and staff were excellent.

Food is good but service is really chaotic. They also don’t explain to you how things work. They have 3 different spaces along the same street but one of them is just a kebab place and the other two have a buffet-style set up where you can select other dishes. Seems you can order from either place regardless of where you sit but, again, no one explains this to you. The kebabs were really nice and tender. Mezzes were good. All the other food was fine but nothing outstanding.

Very good place to discover Turkish cuisine for any foreigner but also Turkish people. The mezzes are very well prepared and very varied in choice. The kebabs are one of the best in Türkiye and also here you have loads of choices. Same can be said for the desserts. My suggestion for dessert. Take the Gaziantep Katmer. A lesser known type of Baklava, you will be pleasantly surprised!
