I celebrated my 21st back in Feb here, and it was an unforgettable experience. The atmosphere is warm and stylish, perfect for a special occasion. We started with the Fougasse with butter and olive oil, which was deliciously crispy and soft, and the Sydney oysters, which were fresh and briny—absolutely fantastic.

The mains and sides were equally impressive, beautifully presented and full of flavor. Service was friendly and knowledgeable, adding to the relaxed yet refined vibe.

Overall, Fred’s made my birthday celebration memorable. It’s a top-notch spot in Paddington for great food and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Average food, lacking flavour.. the oysters were  amazing. The set menu seemed appealing, but the lamb was dry and the prawns were very chewy. The bread was amazing and the dessert was on par.
The service was good, the waiter was very informative about the menu..
The aesthetics were pleasing.

Everything from the ambiance to the service to the food was impeccable. The cocktails and food were absolutely delicious.

Highly recommend the oysters, Rib Eye Steak, Chicken & the swordfish!

It was a 6⭐️ experience! Staffs was very friendly and very experienced on explaining the menu. Also we’re very happy on giving us the best table on the restaurant! Food was superbly good! From starters, mains and desserts! Highly recommended!

Love the farm to table concept here. The head chef is such talent for modern Australian cuisine. The food, service and interior design are all incredible! You can tell if the interior of a restaurant is good by the bathroom is nice and the bathroom is one of the nicest I’ve seen in Sydney.

Bokning 230 för familj på 6 vuxna 3 barn. Försenad till 15:00 för att sitta. Erbjöd inget men gav en plats i bar n vänta på bord. Serveras inte förrän 330 . Bad sedan att flytta till baren vid 430 för nästa kväll sittning. Bill 1300 dollar. Inget kaffe. Mat/vin bra men för fars dag total besvikelse med total nonchalans och arrogans. Jag kommer definitivt inte tillbaka med denna attityd där de stoppade upp inte flytta tidig Service.

Gick här för lunch med min fru och vi är ganska svårt att behaga, men Fred's är en annan nivå, bara felfri mat och service. Älskade det öppna kITchen, avslappnad atmosfär, alla där visste vad de gjorde, det är bara så svårt att hitta denna typ av mat tillsammans med professionell service i Australien, vi kommer säkert tillbaka nästa gång vi är här i Sydney.

Stämningen på Fred’s är fantastisk. Maten var dock förvånansvärt genomsnittlig. Vi hade avsmakningsmenyn som började bra - bröd och grönsaker var stor. Det var en besvikelse därifrån. Tonfisken var intetsägande, lammet var mycket medelmåttigt och potatisen okryddad. Öknen var särskilt nedslående. Tyvärr en mycket nedslående upplevelse och jag skulle inte gå tillbaka.

Åkte lunch idag. Hade vintermenyn. Super service och atmosfär. Öppet kök där du kan se att allt är gjort från början med färska råvaror. Ni kan se all prep, proteinet kokas över kol. Pasty gjord från grunden. Två utmärkande rätter var den råa tonfisken. Och ankan. Allt var bra. Skala och peppra korven. Päronbakelsen var lite annorlunda. Viner vi bra. Chablis för kyld. Sommelieren var fantastisk. ANU tränade. På $ 140 fast vintermenyn spektakulärt värde med tanke på kvaliteten på råvaror, atmosfären och perfekt service. Jag skulle gå igen för nästa speciella tillfälle. .

Detta är en dyr restaurang så du förväntar dig en speciell upplevelse. Tyvärr var detta inte fallet. Maten var ok men inte bra. Servicen var ibland långsam. Bord för par var alldeles för nära varandra. Vi kommer inte att gå tillbaka.

Tja, vi åt här två gånger och den första var okej och den andra var inte okej. Det var en söndagskväll så det verkade som om sekundärpersonalen var i drift tyvärr. Allt var lite konstigt. Servern var inte uppmärksam, och verkade som om hon var möjligen ny och distraherad. De två lammkotletterna som huvudrätt var löjligt små, och över hälften var fett. Jag frågade henne om folk äter fettet och hon var ganska vag i sitt svar. Om fettet var tänkt att ätas kunde det åtminstone ha grillats lite, inte rått fett! Det var inte ens i närheten av en $ 60 huvud. Hon glömde beställa vår chokladfondant och det tog 25 minuter att komma efter att vi sagt att vi inte ville ha den, bara ge oss checken. Hon var inte alls ursäktande och ingen chef erkände missödet för oss. Hon tog bort det från räkningen som hon uppenbarligen borde ha gjort och hävdade att det också var för att lammet var underväldigande, LOL. Platsen är vacker och trevlig meny men tyvärr missade märket på vårt besök. Inte säker på att jag skulle återvända eller tryggt rekommendera. För 300 dollar borde det ha varit perfekt! Verkar som det handlar mer om pengarna där än att se till att kunderna lämnar nöjda!

Vi hade en fantastisk kväll här. En pre - middagsdrink i baren; sedan några underbara fougasse att starta måltiden; följt av utmärkt ceviche, god fisk och två stora desserter. Och lite härligt vin. När vi går nästa gång (och vi kommer säkert att återvända) kan vi äta i baren, som "Bar snack" menyn såg ut att ha några intressanta val.

Vårt hotell rekommenderade denna restaurang, eftersom vi ville undvika turist platser i Sydney. Mycket trevlig atmosfär med vänlig personal. Personalen var mycket hjälpsam med valet av olika menyalternativ. Det rekommenderas att dela disches så att du kan ha en god smak av olika trevliga rätter denna restaurang erbjuder. Mycket god mat och viner, gjorde detta till ett fantastiskt besök på Fred’s.

Maten är fantastisk, miljön fantastisk och det helt öppna köket är imponerande! Personalen var mycket vänlig och uppmärksam också. En av mina bästa middagsupplevelser!
