Such a beautiful hotel!  Upon arrival, the first thing I noticed was the fabulous smell in the lobby. Next, the person who checked me in (I think his name was Louis) was wonderful. On top of that, the room was absolutely beautiful 😍

I highly recommend a stay at Fleur de Ville. Should I return to Brussels, I would definitely stay again.

Do not book this hotel if you are faced with extenuating circumstances that mean you have to cancel your booking. There is an industrial strike happening in Brussels on Monday next week. We were due to stay at the hotel for one night but our flight to Brussels has now been cancelled and therefore we cannot travel to stay at this hotel. The hotel are refusing to refund us the money we paid in full for this booking because of a non refundable policy. Given the circumstances that are beyond our control, we expect a refund of our money in full. The customer service today has been extremely poor and we would not recommend this hotel as a result.

Update: The hotel only contacted me about changing dates after this review was posted. I have asked for a refund not a date change. Again, further extremely poor customer service. Never would you be treated this way in my home country.

The best in Brussels, we come regularly and combine with the Opera but I would heartily recommend otherwise as well. Superb high ceilings and beautiful rooms. Very central. Staff super kind and professional! Special shout out to Louis who helped me with a tech issue for work email a very early Sunday morning. Many thanks we will be back!

Don't book this hotel!!
Belgium has a nationwide strike which made it impossible to reach the hotel on 31st march but the hotel still didn't consider, understand or try to help at all. All they care about is to charge us as it's not free cancellation without looking that this is exceptional circumstances from the country and we were keen to travel but no flights no transportation no way to arrive !! They just offered to change dates which for me impossible to confirm dates from now as i don't live there!! Even refused to keep the dates open for sometime to confirm it!
They have the worst customer service ever, they reply only when they want to
Avoid at any cost as this shows the service you would receive if you go there

Nice and clean hotel with high ceilings in a perfect central location. We did not hear any noise from outside but in the evening the restaurant was making a lot of noise putting dishes away. Our room was close to the restaurant. They have a separate door, which they should close. Also, seems air (heat/cool) cannot be managed by us so it could be too hot or too cold based on personal preference. Overall a great stay, we would stay there again.
