We went on a Wednesday. it was a day where the younger chefs strut their stuff so we couldn't choose the menu items. But despite them being young, all the food were amazing.
We took the 5 course + 1 extra special course + non alcoholic drinks pairing.

The host was amazing. Knowledgeable and friendly. As was the rest of the wait staff. You feel really welcome there. The non alcohol paring was interesting as it is not often we see that. Every single drink was delicious.

Will definitely return.

Just to nitpick: if the bread could have been slightly warm, would be even more fantastic.

Well. This was great. So much innovation taking place in the kitchen. Young talented chef who dares to go beyond traditional kitchen. I do have to return to the best restaurant in Mechelen

We went there for NYE 2021. The very friendly host welcomed us personally. The place looks beautiful, a mix of old and new, very cosy. The bites and food were excellent with some old time favourites and original surprises mixed in. The staff was all very enthusiastic and extremely friendly and welcoming.

One of our friends is allergic for several things, and she received a different though very similar dish for all courses.

We will definitely visit again!

Wow! Rarely I had such a great experience. A stone's throw from the St Rombouts Cathedral, The Chick offers a cordial and impeccable service with an interesting sequence of flavors throughout the five-services menu. I was pleasantly surprised by the ability of the waiters to maintain the fil rouge of the service in a very precise manner.
Interesting choice of cocktails/mocktails with an innovative twist. Remarkable cheese platter.
Would recommend and I would come back: it's a treat you should indulge in.

The Chapel is an amazing locaties for smaller scala seminars.
