In the center of Sankt Vith there is a pearl called Zur Post. with decent service of old, a personal yet professional touch and a grand french cuisine, I was charmed and surprised by this cosy restaurant. A wine list that one would not expect in this somewhat remote part of Belgium, and a chef that impresses even the experienced.

Overall the setting reminds of the old days of hospitality, with a touch of renewal, and the food lives up to modern haute cuisine standards.

Five stars for the restaurant..The food was tasty ,with excellent materials and the dishes full of imagination . The service was also great. I would highly recommend this restaurant to someone who visits St Vith.

We had a wonderful stay here!
The owners and their staff are very kind and helpful. Clean and spacious rooms. And the food is really superb. We had 2 times the 5-course dinner and everything was just perfect. From the appetizers to the coffee with "mignardises", it all was delicious and nicely presented. Good wines and a nice choice of drinks as well. There is not a lot of choice for breakfast, but everything is fresh and of good quality.

Food was great, waiters not so much. When we arrived they asked if wanted an aperitif, it was a glass of champagne. They did not tell us it was €14. They also charge €9 for a bottle of water. Really overpriced.
