First meal in Croatia and what a way to start it. Loved the focus on local flavors and ingredients. Octopus and gnocchi were my favorite dishes! Good wine list too.

The food was very well prepared and I really liked the venison gnocchi but otherwise the flavors were not ones that I enjoyed (entirely a matter of my personal palate preferences and not the fault of the restaurant)

Service was excellent

Atmosphere was nice however it is a little off putting to allow smoking within the confines of the restaurant. I understand that there are cultural differences with smoking acceptance but someone smoking right behind you can certainly color your enjoyment of a meal.

We had a wonderful experience at Sug. Antonella served us with perfect recommendations and a delightful personality. We started with beef tartare with sesame crackers. Yum. Main dishes were tuna and octopus and mixed vegetables on the side. Both seafood dishes were flavorful and done to perfection. Portions were generous. We also splurged on dessert and this was the perfect ending to a wonderful evening. Highly recommend!
