We had their 5 course and 3 course menus, and both didn’t disappoint. The food was exceptional and the waiting staff were excellent.

My beef tartar was beyond this world, and the chocolate fondant with berry ice cream was really really good.

The 5 course wine pairing includes some regional strawberry wine, and it was very tasty! So if you are looking for an usual, but delicious wine to go with your meal - ask waiters about it!

Another highlight for me was the butter served with some baguette at the beginning of the meal. It was the smoothest, creamiest butter I’ve ever tried, with a pleasant smokiness to it. Absolutely delicious! What a great start of a pleasant meal.

Immaculately-prepared food using local seasonal ingredients, served by friendly and knowledgeable staff in an airy restaurant with a breathtaking view of the Juutua river. Who can ask for more?

We were three for dinner, and took three starters and three mains to share. Of the starters, the reindeer terrine was the most amazing, closely followed by the forest special and the three-way-carrot. The mains (trout, reindeer, and beef) were each excellent in their own way, with nice presentation and complementary tastes.

In the heart of Lapland, Finland … this is the best town in area to stay for northern lights. This restaurant is ultimate treat to have food after doing all day’s activities.
Excellent service and staff and very formal setting for an amazing food options to pick from. My favourite was Perch from Lake nearby and trout catch of the day. Excellent wine options to pick from. Amazing views from the restaurant of the river and looks like good hotel too.

We ate dinner at Aanaar all three nights during our stay in Inari and loved all three meals. All of the drinks and food dishes we had were absolutely delicious - we did both the 3 & 5 course meals and also did one night more a la carte. The staff was exceptionally friendly and kind and answered any questions we had with ease. The cocktail menu is super fun and everything we tried was delicious, and the wine pairings with food were all terrific. The food itself was creative, fresh, and just all around delicious. Highly recommend!

Excellent service and excellent food. On the pricy side, but definitely worth it. Amazing cocktails. Local food dishes with stories as to the heritage and accompanying wine. We had the 5 course and the 3 course meals with alcohol to accompany. Both were excellent. The staff were amazing and the setting was magical. I recommend booking to get a good table.
