I'd like to preface this by saying that I've been skiing in the alps for 30 years and my guest for the meal for 50 years and we both agreed that this was the best meal we'd had at any restaurant while on a ski holiday. It is well deserving of the Michelin Bib Gourmand.

We opted for the middling set menu and were both hard pressed to find any flaws, though if you went ultra-cynical there were some miniscule things that could be pointed out.

Amuse-Bouche was interesting and nicely presented.

Rabbit saddle starter was wonderful, truly. The miniscule item being that for the quantity of rabbit, a touch more sauce would be required.

The langoustine main was flawless in the cooking, though the dish choice was slightly odd as the presentation felt a touch cramped.

Dessert was rich and beautifully presented.

We asked the staff to help us select the wine and were directed to a Merlot (that we often wouldn't choose) that turned out to be one of 2700-odd bottles aged for 3 years in Oak casks, medium priced and absolutely fantastic.

Don't miss this place. Seriously.

Fabulous food - we were a group of 3 and all agree it was one of the best meals we have ever eaten. The service was very professional and the wine list is excellent. Go if you can, you won't regret it.

This is an outstanding place. Genuine artisanal French gastronomy at a reasonable price in an unpretentious setting. Adorable staff. Great selection of wines. A real pleasure to go there.
