Excellent service and ambiance. I like that they paired the meal with an art pamphlet. Some of the dishes felt repetitive and did not vary in aroma. The spaghetti and sorbet were my favorites. Overall a unique experience for a reasonable price.

Had a wonderful meal and experience at Datil! One of our favorite meals in Paris. Amazing flavors and creative dishes that focus on the best vegetables and fruits of the season. Highly recommend. Will be back again!

I admire the chef to create many dishes with the vegetables available in the season. It satisfied the eyes with the color and presentations. The tasting menu focused on clean and fresh taste. It is little boring with the entire tasting menu is just clean and fresh taste. A good dish needs to have 3 basic elements, presentation, aroma, and taste. The Datil obviously mastered presentation and only one type of the taste, lack of aroma and variety of tastes.

The concept and presentation were beautiful. And the foods were very creative elevating everyday accessible ingredients like cabbage and daikon radish. Using leek for a “maki” and putting together oysters & kiwi was a pleasant surprise! I was so full by the end of the full course! The second dish, tempura, was over fried and I couldn’t taste the ingredients. As someone who grew up in Japan, tempura color should be lighter and golden. Though I felt it was a little pricey but I enjoyed the overall experience.
