I went with very high expectations after the high reviews I read. And let me tell you, they way exceeded all of my expectations!! The staff all spoke English and took the time to explain all of the dishes to us. The kitchen team went nonstop all night. It was amazing to be able to see them work. We all ordered the tasting menu and it is really the way to go. Why choose just one thing to try?? Every dish was the highest quality in both appearance and taste. The fish and eggplant dish really stood out. Manners alone prevented me from licking the plate. We tried all three desserts offered and it is impossible to say which was best. The dishes were innovative without being too strange for the normal person. If you are considering a splurge meal in Bordeaux then this is the place to choose.

We discovered this place on our last day in Bordeaux and really wish we had on our first. The best food, with the concept of sharing starters being brilliant so we could try everything, which was amazing, and then a main course of lamb that was out of this world, it was the best food we've had in the city. Incredible food at excellent value with a team of lovely people. Cannot speak highly enough, and cannot wait to return.

The best restaurant meal I have ever had in my life. The selection of starters to begin with was unbelievable, the terrine was amazing, but the egg dish that followed was even better. Each course actually got better and better. Had the fish for the main course which again was unbelievably good. The depth of flavour in the sauce, the texture and flavour of the fish, and the carrots and beans as well were again probably the best I have ever eaten. Even the dessert, which normally isn't my favourite course, was perfect. The zephirines that the pastry chef is famous for more than lived up to their reputation, and I am also very glad that the owner recommended us to pair it with their dessert wines. This place is absolutely worth a visit, and worth every penny.

Amazing restaurant. The food was really good. Some of the delicious ingredients can be bought in their own shop in the front. The service is in English or French and was perfect aswell. We had a wonderful time there.
