Right on the port, this hotel is ideal. With only two days in the city, the location allowed us easy access to transportation, great walking neighborhoods and beautiful views of the port. Our room on the first floor had a comfortable balcony that was shaded in the afternoons. The room was stylish and decorated with me artistic touches. The bed is comfortable and we slept well.
A big thank you to the friendly staff. They were happy to keep our bag while we toured the city and waited for our train. Cheers!

This hotel has a boutique, family feel.  The service was above par, the rooms were well appointed and was in a prime location to take advantage of the Christmas markets!
We will definitely be back!

Upon arrival, we met the number vest and loveliest man at the reception. The view was just as amazing as the room. Thank you soo much 😊

We booked 3 nights and checked in on Dec 26, the day after Christmas. Found out there is no hot water when taking shower at night. Called the front desk. The receptionist answered: “I don’t know” and told me there is no hot water in the entire building. I'm told that they would find out after the general manager comeback “tomorrow.” Really? The general manager can enjoy the Christmas holiday and hot bath at home, but all guests of this hotel have to suffer and wait until next day? Called again after 15 minutes. The receptionist shouted at me over the phone: “there is an electrical issue!” Then hanged up. Very rude. I can’t believe this is how they treat their guests and conduct business.

The scond night, they didn't clean our rooom, but offered free breakfast for the next day after we called to complain.

The third night, they cleaned our room, but didn't empty the trash can in the bathroom.

This is a samll hotel. It seems they lack of man power and capacity to run when their staff take leave during the holidays. So not recommend to stay during local holidays.

Awful decor at La Residence du Vieux Port: primary colors and geometric patterns of red, blue, yellow.  Total eyesore!  Please have a professional designer, with good taste, redecorate the rooms in a mature French hotel style (not kindergarten-school style).
