Listen, if you are from somewhere that doesn’t have hotels that date from the 1536, and if you are capable of carrying your suitcase up one (or two) floors, why on earth would you not take this opportunity and stay here? It’s a clean, comfortable, quiet hotel with a parking lot (rare!) So if you can carry your suitcase (if you can’t, you probably packed too much stuff) give this place a try. The history alone should make you jump at it. The fact that it’s a nice hotel is simply a bonus. So glad we stayed here! Oh and the breakfast at the sister hotel Breitelre was delicious and ample and had great service and was only a short walk away.

Darling clean space well located. Just find it strange when you don't see or speak with a person on check in or out. It has no welcoming or human element in the stay.

The location is great. It's an un-manned check-in, so you enter a passcode to pickup you key from a lockbox, but the hosts are responsive over text! The rooms are clean and the pillows are very fluffy and comfortable! It's been beautifully restored.

There's parking in the back, which was the main decision criteria why we picked this hotel. So nice not having to drag our bags over the cobblestone all the way from the parking outside the old city! Would stay here again.

Great rustic rooms and really quiet. The host went out of the way to let us use their dining area over Christmas. Big breakfast. My family had a great stay. The only reason for docking a star was a charge for parking, which while reasonable, could have been handled more transparently.

This is the perfect bed & breakfast to stay in for a few nights in Rothenberg ob der Tauber.  The location in town is great, and our room was very spacious and comfortable.  The breakfast also could not be beat!  The owner was also very helpful and accommodating throughout our stay, and even made us sandwiches on our last morning to take with us on our train ride to our next stop in Germany
