We had an incredible evening at Herr Restaurant in Rothenburg. The five-course menu was absolutely delicious, featuring local ingredients like Tauberthal Wagyu, which was a real highlight. Each dish was thoughtful and full of flavor.

Chef Sascha made the experience even better by personally explaining the dishes and even coming over to offer us more sauce—such a nice, personal touch! The atmosphere was relaxed and unpretentious, which we really appreciated.

The restaurant is small and has a bit of an improvised feel, but that only added to the charm. Everything about it felt genuine, and we loved every part of the experience.

If you’re in Rothenburg, this is definitely worth a visit.

This is the best restaurant in Rothenburg ob der Tauber!!! The food was absolutely amazing as was the service! Filip took any dietary restrictions into consideration prior to my booking to ensure I had the best experience possible with food I absolutely loved!! I did the 5 course menu with a wine pairing and was so impressed! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone searching for the best food in Rothenburg or for a 5 star dining experience that is reasonably priced!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Food was fantastic (my pictures don’t do it justice) and the service as well, Filip made sure we were well taken care of, present but discreet he guided us through the menu. Would highly recommend.

The best meal I have ever had. I do not say that lightly. Sascha and Filip's warmth and hospitality truly were above and beyond to create a wonderful experience for my wife and I when visiting. It has to be some of the finest food, with exceptionally prepared dishes, in the region. Tough to find a complaint here if you wanted to find one.

I can confidently say this was a special experience you won't want to miss out on if afforded the opportunity.
