The food was absolutely superb as well as the service. This was an adventure of flavors and different textures. Even though the outside might not seem as high end, the food truly is in high-end experience as well as the preparation and presentation.

Wir hatten Anfang Oktober einen großartigen Abend im La Mer. Das Essen war hervorragend. Sowohl das 4-Gänge-Menü als auch die Gerichte a la carte haben uns begeistert. Die Weinbegleitung zum Menü super stimmig, auch für Weinliebhaber der lieblicheren Sorte wurde eine passende Flasche serviert. Die Preise sind gerechtfertigt und nun wirklich nicht teuer in Relation zu anderen Lokalitäten auf Norderney.
Das Ambiente ist ungezwungen modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, der Service unglaublich aufmerksam. Lieben westfälischen Gruß an den jungen Mann aus dem Raum Gütersloh und das gesamte Team.
Für uns das beste Restaurant auf der Insel, das wir beim nächsten Inselaufenthalt auf jeden Fall wieder besuchen werden. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt.

We had a great evening at La Mer in early October. The food was outstanding. We were impressed by both the 4-course menu and the a la carte dishes. The wine accompaniment to the menu was super harmonious, and a suitable bottle was also served for wine lovers of the sweeter variety. The prices are justified and really not expensive in relation to other locations on Norderney.
The atmosphere is casually modern and tastefully decorated, and the service is incredibly attentive. Kind Westphalian greetings to the young man from the Gütersloh area and the entire team.
For us the best restaurant on the island, which we will definitely visit again on our next stay on the island. We felt completely comfortable.

Mein ganz persönliches Fazit nach Seesteg, Müllers und La Mer in drei Tagen lautet:

Mein persönlicher Geschmackssieger ist das La Mer.
Die ausgesuchten Gerichte von der Karte trafen mit ihren jeweiligen Geschmacksextrakten am besten meine Knospen auf der Zunge.

Der Service war famos und das obwohl er alleine war.
Die Beratung jederzeit sicher und fachkundig.

Die Obstbrände und der Grappa im Nachgang der Mahlzeiten waren ultra-lecker.

My personal conclusion after Seesteg, Müllers and La Mer in three days is:

My personal taste winner is the La Mer.
The selected dishes from the menu hit my tongue best with their respective flavor extracts.

The service was great, even though he was alone.
Advice is always safe and expert.

The fruit brandies and grappa after the meals were ultra-tasty.
