The food was delicious, the service very friendly and helpful! The food did come in very quick succession which prevented us from finishing dessert completely. The price is also very high, a bit too high in comparison with what we pay in Belgium for a similar menu. In short, it was a successful evening with good food.

The place could be a bit better.

The chef knows what he/she is doing, the food was lovely, ingredients according with the season.

Didn't like that I paid similar price as customers taking the wine pairing when I ordered only a glass of red wine and one of champagne (41€) Vs. 91 € for 7 drinks.

The petit four came with 3 only 😁.

Costes and the staff FAR exceeded my expectations. Starting with Mara emailing me during the day to double check my allergy and the details. From the moment I arrived, Ekish opened the door for me like he was expecting my arrival and made me feel immediately welcome. Ekish and Arai provided top notch service all night, answering all my silly questions - food related and otherwise! Peter served up delicious wines all night long. Some of the food was a bit outside my comfort zone but all of it was incredible! Delicious, surprising, decadent. To my delight, I had the table near the bar with a slight view of back of house operations & they indulged every inquiry I came up with. At the end of my dining experience, they even took me to see the kitchen & meet the sous chef, Noel (executive chef had already left). I felt like I was inside an episode of the TV show the Bear all night and I could not have been happier. Joy was definitely on the menu at Costes. It was super clear that they would do anything in their power to make a good experience for me and I loved every moment. Highly recommend.

We’ve dined at Michelin star restaurants around the world and this has to be up there as a favourite. Food was innovative, refined, technically complex, and a visual feast. Well matched wine pairings that celebrated local wine-making skills. Professional service and elegant understated ambiance that matched the food. The chawanmushi reminded us of our past life in Asia and the cheesecake was a perfect palate cleanser before the theatrical dessert. Hard to pick a fav dish here but probably the surprising tomato salad - it was just so well balanced and lively, every flavour brought to life - beautifully presented.
